I've already read a ton of material from:
David Deangelo - cocky/funny, frame-stealing, etc.;
Wayne Elise - conversation dynamics, SOI, creating barriers, etc.;
Mystery - Mystery Method, extremely structured game, etc.;
David Spade - sex-oriented guru;
Robert Greene - business writer, but wrote "The Art of Seduction";
and more.
I wanted to see if there were any new theories, some new material.
So on a trip to Borders, I recently went out and purchased a book,
"How To Succeed With Women"
by Ron Louis, David Copeland
Has anybody heard of this book?
If so, is there anything new in it, or is it just re-iterations of the men above?
If nobody has anything about it, I'll post about it when I finish it. |

| I read it years ago. It's an alright book - no hardcore technique. It is basicall about asking open ended questions, complimenting girls on certain things, and getting over AA. I think it is a bit outdated and I would not necessarily reccomend it. |

I've read How To Succeed With Women. I'll agree with Axxent that it is indeed outdated. The copyright on my book says it's from 1998, and obviously there have been many breakthroughs over the past nine years.
Even though it's outdated and a lot of the information in it isn't worth taking to heart in 2007, I do recommend it. It brings up a lot of topics that are just really, really useful that aren't in other books that I've read. Like specifics of good ways to dress, even if you like a torn look, and how to keep your place and car looking just right. They touch on things along the lines of crazy types of women to avoid, places to meet women where there will usually be few males, what to do if she has a flashback of a bad sexual experience and starts crying during sex, certain things you 'must' do on, what they call a "priming date," etc.
A somewhat annoying aspect of the book, (at least to me), was their constant referring to 'Bob' and 'Bruce.' Bob does everything wrong all the time, and Bruce does everything right, and they illustrate points through them, and after a while it got on my nerves.
Either way, I do recommend it if you've got the time. It teaches you a lot of little basic things that aren't strictly PUA-related, but will definitely help you along the way. |
