| So heres the deal. I met a girl at the bar on wednesday and number closed her. On friday I called her and set up a date for tuesday. I havnt talked to her since friday and I want to talk/text her before we go out on tuesday to keep me fresh in her mind. The only thing is I don't have any idea what to talk to her about when I call her. I know she likes board games, bowling and she is studying to be a teacher. But I can't come up with a conversation to talk to her about based on those things or anything else in general(weather, news, etc). What I'm trying to say is I can't come up with a good reason to talk to her. Any ideas or suggestions? |

Yes, don't call her just meet her Tuesday! You have a date set, period end of story. If you call her in between just to keep her fresh on your mind it's an AFC move, and will demonstrate lower value. If anything sometimes, I will call and push a date back a little. Anticipation is a great thing. I'll call the day before, and say, "Hey, I don't have much time to talk, but I am meeting a friend right before I see you, can we push our thing back 1 hr?" Be firm about this, keep the time on the phone to the minimum. Think, she's already planned to be with you, so you know she should be free. You DHV yourself, and give yourself a way to confirm without doing it directly. Enjoy the gambit and have fun!
