Any other bar staff here?
Work up at the local club as a second job for a laugh and to meet ppl etc 
Now since i've gotten alot more confident behind the bar i've started letting bits of game come into it, there's loud music which makes it a bit harder but im up for a challenge.
Have had a #-close whilst working ending in a f-close (unfortunately a HB6 or so), also had numerous close calls where if i had a bit more time to game im sure it would've ended in a #-close
Best example of this would be this weekend:
Whilst working was gaming a HB8-9, getting a few IOI's (hard to tell though as everyone gives you IOI's, they want to get served and the bar is usually 2-3 deep), she ordered a Gin, lime and lemonade... so decided to game her a bit making fun of the drink she was ordering, which she reacted to really well, definate IOI then, and when came back she asked my name (IOI 2) and told me i was hot (IOI #3), at this point i dropped it (AFC mistake) and the best comeback i could think of was "well i try" rather than going for the # close, as the bar was busy i just moved on. I was intending to go for the number close when she came back to the bar (stopped for a mo to grab pen and paper) but got moved onto a different bar and didnt see her again (which was a shame as she seemed really nice from short interaction, and gave me a £3 tip lol)
Now i guess the question here is, did i play it right by gaming her and letting her go thinking i would see her again when she got another drink, or should i have sped up my game enough to get a number close from her on that first interaction?
If i should have sped it up, any ideas for a good way to close but without taking too long (remember bar that's usually busy bar towards the end of the night)
