Well I had someone suggesting I was going bald around the top of my scalp but after confronting my fears and going to a doctor to ask about it today(I was really embarrassed to ask about it originally) they confirmed that the thin patch on my head was due to a skin complaint ive had on my scalp since i was 13 called Surrasis(dont ask because i cant spell it) and thats why that area on my head has thinned and its not due to pattern baldness so the thin area on my scalp shouldnt get any worse and if i grow my hair longer than my no 2 hair cut then that should cover it.
So at least now I know my life isnt over, if I was going bald I wouldnt have had a chance of attracting a girl even now my chances are bleak enough, that would have just finished me off.
So now I know I have one bit of remote hope that will keep me going, if news was different today I would have been planning my death |

Now thats abit extreme, but i do understand.
In fact there are modern procedures to correct balding and bald patches. There's even one where they say if you have it done its pretty much impossible to go bald. I was watch This morning tv and now they have invented some kind of comb thing, dont ask me how it works, lasers or something.
You're over-exagerating if its just a small bald spot. Thats probly not male pattern balding.
Its usaully quite easy to prevent.
