Finally, I got ahold of a single friend to hit the local bars with. What a pleasure! We went out early (he had to work Sat.), shot some pool, shot the breeze, and we cruised a number of local spots I'd wanted to check out.
Bar #1) still early, took cell-phone movies of a couple of young HBs riding a mechanical bull. Offered to send it to their phones--denied. Thought it was a clever move, anyway.
Bar #2) some sort of piano bar. Dead.
Bar #3) older crowd, live band, some Jazz (my friend is a musician, he liked it better). After a while a drunk cougar was kinoing me, said she knew me. Turns out we had briefly talked online, never met. She recognized me. She introduces me to her friends, and my PUA education kicks in BIG TIME. I knew what I was doing.
4 set, 3 women, 1 man.
Had 3 potential targets, all nice ladies, and I just distributed my attention to each about evenly, determining in my mind the actual target. Turns out it wasn't the woman who hooked me into her set, or her friend, but more a distant friend. We started talking and turns out she lives in my neighborhood, goes to the same health club, etc.
My friend takes off to go home at about 10:30 PM, I kind of forgot about him being in a 4 set without him.
I then isolate the target to a different, quieter bar a block or so away, and we talk for almost 2 hours (ugh), she could talk. She's been divorced a couple years and has had nothing but crummy dates, nothing steady.
I'm waiting outside the wash room for her at 2 AM in this nice hotel/bar, and an HB7.5 whose about 21ish (I'm in my 40s), comes up to me and wants me to join her and her friends for her friends 21st B-Day party at the bar. Fuck! What an offer! She's tipsy, but I couldn't join them without ruining a potential steady fuck-buddy in the making.
My new potential fuck buddy came out of the wash room, and she drove me to my car a couple blocks away. I easily number closed, and set up Day 2 for today to go to the health club together. She's real cautious, and one key element of my PUA training is this: appear non-needy and alpha and they will throw themselves at you.
So she may develop slowly, but how great would it be to have a fuck buddy in my neighborhood who has no kids at home, an empty house, and time and energy. Only regret--would have liked to have seen if I could have gotten some "instant action" from the drunk 21sh girl who was trying to pick me up as I was leaving. Didn't seem like the right play given the situation. |

I met up with her at the gym. After doing some cardio, we talked for like 20 minutes (she talks WAY too much), and went back to working out. I'm achy from a cold, finished up, and said goodbye to her while she was still on a machine. I couldn't care less.
She calls me a few hours later to ask if everything is "OK" because I left "suddenly." The creation of SCARCITY; I learned the hard way how important this is.
She rambles on for a while (this is important for her, part of her way of establishing COMFORT), and asks me over to watch an episode of Grey's Anatomy she recorded. I bring over a couple appropriate romantic comedies on DVD. We're watching one and I fall asleep, lol. Remember, I'm ill and I'm only there out of curiosity.
So, I wake up, and take off. I'm by far the more desirable of the two of us, but she may have her uses. She knows a lot of people, belongs to the Country Club, etc. A relationship worth cultivating. But NO rush. |

| sounds llike she digs ya but dont let her think your not interested. she looks as if she is ready to go to the next level with you. play around with it. if she easily accepts then push her off again to build anticipation |

Hard to say about "the next level." Could I take her out? Sure. Could I escalate some kino...hard to say. She strikes me as strangely asexual, don't know why.
I like your idea about escalating and pulling back. That's something I am working on now. At first I was so horny all I wanted to do was fuck as soon as possible. Now that I'm getting some, the monkey's off my back, and I'm rocking on my back foot, engaging and dis-engaging.
Interested, but not needy. There, but ready to leave. It feels cool. |
