So this story just happened not even 3 hours ago..Here we go
I was sitting down by the pool getting some sun ay my condo when a group of girls and this guy came and sat behind me. I didn't notice them until I took off my headphones.. The group then jumped into the pool and were talking.. I didn't notice.. The girls asked me if I was from New Jersey because they were making fun of the accent.. I said no.. I tried to strike up a conversation with them by telling them that I had a roomate from Jersey and his accent was annoying. They laughed and asked what building I was in I pointed to the left one. We talked about the construction that was going on and how it's annoying in the morning.. I jumped in the pool and chilled by the wall with both my arms streached out.. We talked some more.. I came to find out they were from the same area. They go to the same school I want to go to (UCF).. Anyway I really wanted to penatrate the group.. this one brunette girl was really cute.. I know when approaching a group you don't go straight for the target.. Style suggests talking with the guys first.. then move on to the girls.. so I tried to talk with this guy and he was just giving me BS answers and seemed disinterested in talking with me.. I find that I'm more comfortable talking to girls who are alone at a coffee shop and bookstore.. maybe I should just stick to that..... anyone have any advice on what to do the next time?? |

a couple of moves i would have tryed;
-how do you all know each other? (make sure that the guy isnt with her)
if clams to be, ask the target how long they have been seeing each other, just in case he is lying. if so "blow him out of the water! 
if the guy was showing disinterest, it was for a purpose... he could have been after or trying to portray alpha characteristics.
at that point i would have over alphad him, using body language and not chasing him for attention.
for example, last night at the club, this one guy came onto my set and talked to this one girl... i went up to them ans sayed, omg you make such a cute couple. get her trying to avoid the comparisons and shut him down. then i asked how they new each other and referred to him as "sport". total dlv.
after the guy is dealt with
-i would talk to the set and give my interest to the obstacles and dhv myself to them and "shoot shit"
-throwing some negs to the target "i think your hair would look better up/down".
-after make it seam that your giving her a second chance and she has to dhv herself to you.
tell the group you have to talk to her but say it in a none alertive manor "i been kinda isolation your friend here, mind if i show her something/talk to her? we will be right over here, you can join us after if you like, we will save you a seat.
relax after then let her dhv herself some more and build rapport.
depending on how its going, close with, you seem pretty cool, *present your phone* and tell her to add her number.

I was at a club last night and I just walked up to a group of guys/girls i said wussup to this guy...
ME: Wussup man (shook his hand) whats your name?
DUDE: Some name
ME: Cool man, You from around here?
DUDE: Blah...
Then i turned to the girls in the set whom i was ingoring as i interrupted their conversation...
ME: So how do you guys all know each other...
Maybe even give the guy a compliment "That shirt is TIGHT, whered u get it?" "You seem pretty solid, are you a marine?" Just stupid shit to disarm them from making it seem like your not trying to holler at the girls there with. |
