So I met this girl at a night club event. We have been texting for a while now and we talked about hanging out together soon.

Yesterday she invited me to a social gathering through text; "Would you like to go to the expo with a couple of friends?".

I answered; "Yeah maybe I'm going to let you know soon" (I still haven't gotten my work schedule for this sunday).

Then she answers; "Ok :)".

This morning I wake up to this; "Nevermind, I don't feel like seeing you sunday, personally I don't need a liar and a jerk of your kind in my life." WHAT!?

So to this I answered; ":o what were you told?"

I'm thinking of writing a follow up text but I need to really think about it, because I don't want to fail.

First of all the chick sounds a little nuts, so it's not a big loss. Your second text sounds a bit defensive to me, you were too effected by her allegation. I would have either ignored that text and cut contact, or texted back "Ok :)" (like she did) and left it at that.

Who knows how she would have responded to that, but you gotta at least try to keep the upper hand.

Me: I'm going to the expo tonight until 11pm

To me she just seems super insecure about herself. Her friend told me she never lets guys kiss her in clubs and stuff. I'm ready to give her a chance but she needs to make the effort because she doesn't make me want to give any.

Loved the part in between when you weren't replying and she was sending random non-sense.

Anyway, you need to make a decision about this girl. Doesn't seem like the sharpest tool in the toolbox, so I'd assume you'd want to close her and move on.
