I have a problem, for some reason I have fallen into a lazy routine.. I'm too young to be this lazy.. I wake up really late somewhere around 12pm or 1 pm I just sit and lay down on my phone or watch the same show on Netflix until I get hungry ill go get something to eat and sit and wait around until work, get off go to sleep and repeat. I see my friends at the pool with girls having fun but I never go out.. I use to go to the gym a lot but I've stop.. all I ever do is sit in my room read, watch tv.. I know I should be doing something production but I just don't know what! how do I get out of this lazy lifestyle i'm living ? I even notice my communication with people is become lazy! Girls will text me and Ill just stop replying! It seems like all I want to do is be alone! I'm not depress or anything well I don't think.

Try not mastrubating for 4-5 days. Your testosterone levels will raise and you will feel energy all over your body.
You will be more energetic and you will have more motivation of doing things.

Are you a caveman? LOL - just giving you a hard time man, but really...

Read a book. Go out with your friends.... Or better yet: direct that sexual energy towards finding a real woman!

What fuels your decisions? Your mind.

So how do you change the mind? You change the thoughts.

Heres one quote:
Quote:
“I will act now. I will act now. I will act now. Henceforth, I will repeat these words each hour, each day, everyday, until the words become as much a habit as my breathing, and the action which follows becomes as instinctive as the blinking of my eyelids. With these words I can condition my mind to perform every action necessary for my success. I will act now. I will repeat these words again and again and again. I will walk where failures fear to walk. I will work when failures seek rest. I will act now for now is all I have. Tomorrow is the day reserved for the labor of the lazy. I am not lazy. Tomorrow is the day when the failure will succeed. I am not a failure. I will act now. Success will not wait. If I delay, success will become wed to another and lost to me forever. This is the time. This is the place. I am the person.”

― Og Mandino
Practice it.

I used to be extremely lazy as well. Same exact story you wrote here. I changed my diet, started getting more sun, stopped masturbating and watching porn. taking cold showers and things changed. These things don't effect everyone, some people went through experiences that have created their motivation. However these things do hinder many.

Many of the process chemicals and preservatives in our food set the chemical foundation in the body for laziness.

A lower testosterone count is probably the source of this. See this link: http://www.anabolicmen.com/increase-hgh-in-24-hours/

Practice the thinking, the eating, and the reduction of bad habits and you'll begin to see change. Just be aware that it can take anywhere from 3-10 months before you start seeing any noticeable differences. This is your life here, you have to be in it for the long haul.

no bro it doesnt. Doe not masterbating does help like your dopamine receptors. which does help you. In other words. When you masterbate or ejaculate you release an explosion of dopamine, which is pleasure. So stop masterbating and your brain becomes hungry for that dopamine rush which will, in term help you. But really nothing to do with testosterone levels. Fap once a week and youll be good.

I remember reading a book recently called "One Small Step Can Change Your Life: The Kaizen Way" by Robert Maurer. Kaizen books are all over the place and the idea is of small, incremental, changes. The basic principle is that starting a positive change isn't difficult, but maintaining it is. It's like space exploration, firing a shuttle into space isn't hard, the hard part is keeping it there instead of having it crash back down.

The disadvantage of this is that it takes longer, but it's rare for someone to just change their life all of the sudden and keep that change going, so if you want lasting change, I suspect this is the way to go.

For example, let's say you have a project you want to work on (outside of your job, since I'm guessing your boss is in charge of managing your work there). Can you dedicate 10 minutes every day to it? or 5?
"Well what's 5 minutes a day gonna do?"
Three things:
(1) it's easy to do so it helps build momentum, you can work for 5 minutes and NOT feel guilty since that was your goal
(2) 5 X 7 is 35 minutes a week, something will come out of that much time
(3) If you get started on something, and work on it for 5 minutes, odds are you'll keep working for a while. BUT you can feel good about that even if you don't because your goal was 5 minutes and you did that.

I'm experimenting with that idea myself, so I'd like to hear feedback of more accomplished people on this forum, or chat with fellow lazy humans (Lazy people unite! ... tomorrow) and have some accountability exchange, but this recent read was quite an eye opener

Laziness is actually my current inner-game sticking point that i'm working on right now. Doing the daily boring things (while trying to ENJOY THE PROCESS "NOT FOCUSING ON THE RESULT") that i need to do to increase my success in pickup and in life..going against my inner resistance (procrastination, fatigue, hunger, anxiety, or hesitation because of the fear of failure or rejection) that keeps me from taking action in the following departments: my social life, career, finances, health, fitness, and personal goals. I don't work on it every single day like a mad man. LOl But i have been trying to work on this pretty consistently as of late. Every since i've started working on this particular inner-game sticking point..i've realized that this was the sticking point of my entire life. It's the reason why i've missed out on so many cool opportunities, why i could've learned more about many different things about the real world earlier in my life. Once i discovered this, it was eye opening to say the least. Anyone who has ACTUALLY been working on their inner-game for a while..eventually discovers that the inner-game issues that you have..goes deeper and deeper. And if you keep going deeper..you will actually uncover THE EXACT THINGS that has been keeping you from having the success in your life that you could not attain for YEARS because of it. These layers of inner game issues is kinda like the layers of an onion. The more layers that you peel back, and the closer you get to the center..the more ugly things that you uncover about yourself that has been the cause of most of your own pain and tears throughout your life. LOl It has been a rough go at it so far..which further validates exactly why i need to keep working on it.
