| Post subject: | 6 month relationship. Should I get her anything? |
As the title says, should I get my girlfriend anything for 6 months? I'm not one of those people who buy her presents each month, actually now that I think about it, the only thing I've ever bought her was a gift for her birthday. Any suggestions/thoughts? |

Yeah, I would get her something or take her out on a nice date. To me, it's just a question of manners (if you're serious about her) and being a gentleman. As for what to get her - dude, that really depends on your budget. You can never go wrong with a nice, big bouquet and a special date. A girl once took me to a restaurant where everything was pitch black (you hand in your phones) and all the waiters was blind; I still remember that 2+ years later! A date can be better than a physical present. What about the girl herself? What does she like? The best present is one that's wanted. My ex, 2 months into our relationship, was out in a mall with me. I saw a big 300$ vinyl toy and said: "if a girl gives this to me as a present, I just might have to marry her" as a joke. She actually went and got it for me 2 days later.. One of the most memorable presents in my life. Hope the examples help! |

The coolest b-day gift (yeah, b-day, not anniversary) was when my gf got all dressed up just like in her portfolio ( she was a model) and came over and .............! Dress up like a fireman or something and do a strip tease for her... She'll never forget it.... |

Just take her out to some classy place. Something a bit more upscale from your usual dating haunts. Trust me, if you show her that you are taking care of her and your relationship is a priority to you, she'll be reciprocating her appreciation in all the right ways at the end of the night. |
