Stuck at dating level

Post subject:  Stuck at dating level
Been dating this girl for about a year now, and its getting boring. She doesn't want to hook up and move to the next level for the following reasons:
- She doesn't want to lose me if we break up.
- She claims that relationships change her.
- Relationships are a huge drag on her social life and liberty.
- She wants to party.

Basically the relationship she was in before me was a horrible one. Her bf was so bad that he gave her a phobia of relationships, now I'm stuck with it. I'm a pretty fun and care-free guy and I don't see how I would ruin her social life (which she values A LOT). On the otherhand she doesnt want to lose me.

Any techniques I can use to break this mentality? Freeze her out a bit? Find someone else?

Why do you want a relationship with this girl? Just so that she doesn't run off with a different guy?

Because I want to experience some form of relationship right now. I let her go party any time she wants, where shes always surrounded by guys.

No offense, but that's a really lousy reason to get into a relationship. A relationship takes hard work and strong mutual attraction. She's clearly not ready to be slowing down, yet, and you shouldn't either. You could go for MLTRs, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Bottom line: She doesn't want to feel inhibited, so why should you subject yourself to that? You're making her happy, she's making you happy, so go find some other girls who can do the same thing. Find 3 other girls, and you'll be 4x as happy! :wink:
