There's this girl who plays in a band that my band used to play with years ago and we used to tour all about the UK together. It's only now five years later that I realise, now that my band have split up ages ago, that I'm totally obsessed by her. She's not only fucking incredibly hot but her band are also awesome and are achieving things that I could only dream of. Our only point of contact is facebook. So I'm putting my neck on the line and asking you guys- what would be a killer way to hook up with her? Remember, she's only on my FB and also lives 100 miles from me in my old hometown. Tough challenge but I'm sure somebody can come up with a surefire technique on here- come on guys you're the best of the best supposedly! Help a brother in need! PS Don't get me wrong, when it comes to hitting on club girls, no problemo, it's this one broad that I can't even approach, dunno why but It's fucking crazy, she's intense! |

First off;no such thing as a sure-fire technique to getting any girl. Lot of guys seek out the community for the magic bullet which doesnt exist. Assuming you've already spoken with her in the past,so contacting her online wont be weird. Why dont you find out(by asking her)about her band's next gig and the venue. Then try meet up with her there. I know this wasnt what you wanted to hear but it'd be much better to chat her in person than Facebook. |

Listen to k-loc. He's making a good point. The first thing you need to do, is to set up a meet with her. You can open with a "I'd say 'long time, no see' but 5 years is kinda pushing it. Don't ya think?  "Once you've got her to respond, set up a meet or something. Her next gig? Coffee? Whatever suits you. Progress from there. |

Great advise once again Don(lol). I like your opener about 5 years pushing it(lol). Bluechair(the OP)should definitely not settle for gaming her online. Throw an opener,she replies,try meet up. I find that the longer you game a girl online,she's gonna get comfortable with the ideal of "online",thus she's not gonna wanna meet up since you'd gotten her so comfortable with Facebook. I'd lost many girls that way by engaging her on Facebook. |

Man, next time make sure you type "hit on" in your title, I thought you were trying to fight the chick. I am very anti-internet, anti-text game. I think it tends to make guys too comfortable with the ability to read over and edit something before sending it out, then they lose the skill to think on their feet in person. at the end of the day the biggest difference between a potential hookup and the friendzone is kino, and kino is impossible online. |

Good advice guys thanks, yeah I've been thinking bout it today and pretty much came close to Don;s Idea of finding out about there next gig and taking it from there, it's prob the only way I could actually game her properly, cos she's got around 1500 fans on FB , mostly guys and every time she posts a status update these guys are all over it total AFC style so it shouldnt be too hard to stand out from the crowd. I remember I took a bunch of friends to see her band play a few years ago and after it, she came straight up to me at the bar and kissed me on the cheek and gave me a big sweaty (nice girly sweat) hug, it was beautiful, especially in front of all my mates, they were like HOLY SPELLCHECK SON YOU'RE IN THERE! But I didn't follow up cos her boyfriend at the time was there. Cheers for the tips guys- ps I fucking love that line "I'd say 'long time, no see' but 5 years is kinda pushing it. Don't ya think?
