I never thought I'd do this, but I'll quote Mystery for this: Guys ask me if there's any certain kind of music or a playlist they can use to get psyched up before going to a party. I tell them dude, it's a fuckin party, if you're not psyched just to go out what else can you do? He's right, you gotta be psyched just to go out and meet beautiful women. I mean blasting some favorite songs while driving to the club is one thing, but trying to entrance yourself into a proper frame of mind just kinda proves you need some more work on your confidence. That being said, when there is a major event going down, I do always pregame by playing the Blood of Cu Chuulain, which is the theme to Boondock Saints. But I don't do it to psych myself up, I do it to get everybody in high spirits while we are hanging out. It would happen on its own the moment we showed to the party. |

Here's my pre going out ritual playlist (best with a few beers) really gets me in the mood for sarging: Thrasher - Evile Slit Wrist Theory - 36 Crazyfists I Am the Law - Anthrax Welcome to the Jungle - Guns N' Roses Southern Girl - Incubus One Step Closer - Linkin Park Girls Girls Girls - Motley Crue War within a Breath - Rage Against The Machine Talk Dirty to Me - Poison Nice Guys Finish Last - Green Day Indestructible - Disturbed Old -Machine Head (live version from Hellalive album) Raze - Exodus Fight For This Love - Cheryl Cole Rockstar - Nickelback Dragula - Rob Zombie Paradise City - Guns N' Roses Pulse of the Maggots - Slipknot I'm Broken - Pantera Anthem - Trivium So yeah im generally a metalhead myself, but any music that triggers an emotional reaction in you and amps up your confidence is what you want |

Normally I just listen to a Deeper Shades Of House podcast (esp #359)... It helps to be calm and collected whilst sarging, you dont generally want to shout whatever comes to mind rountine-wise, nor do you want to get too caught up in one aspect of the pick up. |

Without sounding weird I watch fighting videos and read quotes from all the historic greats. I treat it like going to war. It's about skill and being strategic. Failure can never be an option. |
