So you meet a girl for a first date at a bar/lounge, therefore the connection/rapport you've built is not super-strong yet. How do you deal with an AMOG who blatantly interrupts you and your date, or who waits for you to go to the bathroom and then swoops on your girl? You arrive back to find her in a conversation. The latter seems to happen to me periodically. Would appreciate your insights on this topic. |

^^^great move!! dude make sure your body language stays unchanged i would act like his presence doesnt bother me. my eye contact would be top notch.. and then i'd probably ask him dumb silly questions till he'd get bored of the conversation.. once he left, i would bust the girls balls.. "omg girl, you should've clearly got his number. he was clearly hitting on you. he was kinda hott too. here, im gonna call him over.. im a pretty good matchmaker.." etc.. |

I suggest you get a life. Take up hobbies where you can bring women out other then bars or clubs. It also makes it easier to timebridge. |

Come on yo - that's a bit out of line. I never attack people on here because I don't know anything about their life situation. But I'm not going to take that.I made a couple hundred bucks last Sat. DJ'ing electro at a club to several hundred people. Sure it's not Tiesto rates, but I'm quite happy to come that far. I have played guitar for nearly 20 years, and not just in my bedroom. Please do not tell me about 'hobbies'. I'm here to learn just like everyone else - just asking an honest question and more importantly acknowledging my game isn't rock solid in all areas. |

i recently realized something, i used to think i had to ''deal'' with amogs, just don't be self centered, don't think from a selfish point of view and don't allow your ego to get involved, don't let him or anyone effect you from an ego base, he is insignificant if you don't know him, place no value on him, place value upon the girl, in terms of what could be done in that particular situation, you could just tell the girl, HEY INTRODUCE ME TO YOUR NEW FRIEND (you could do a million other things in this situation also), then get closer to her then him, and give her your attention, until the guy earns your attention, either positively or negatively, but either way, do not take up a selfish stance, as in I HAVE TO BE BETTER THEN THIS GUY, THIS GUY IS TRYING TO BEAT ME FOR THIS GIRL I HAVE TO STOP IT, just focus on the thing you care about, if you care about him more then her, she will do the same, if you become defensive or aggressive, from a ego base, she will notice, if you just be yourself and disconnect from your need to be better, you simply will be putting your focus in the right place, that is my current perspective anyways, |
