| Post subject: | Crazy chicks that think I'm gay |
I went out on a date last night with a woman I met on Plentyoffish, she was really hot and intelligent, and she seemed mature. I thought it was really cool that she was studying sociology and fine arts, and we had a lot in common. We ended up kissing passionately we were together for like 5 hours, and she told me she wanted to meet me for karaoke on Friday. She kept talking me up on looks though the whole time even though I was complimenting her on her looks because I was very attracted to her, it should have been a red flag that she wasn't very confident in herself, then she posted this today on her profile... THE BELOW STATEMENT IS DIRECTED AT DATE #6 THERE IS A FINE LINE BETWEEN CONFIDENCE AND ARROGANCE......I CAN EASILY RECOGNIZE THIS, SO IF YOU THINK YOUR "PRETTIER" AND "SMARTER" THAN ME, YOUR NOT MY TYPE. I'M LOOKING FOR MY INTELLECTUAL MATCH AND IF YOU HAPPEN TO BE BRILLIANT THAT'S EVEN BETTER BECAUSE THAT IS SO HOT TO ME What... the... fuck... seriously. I don't really know where this comes out of, but she's of course not the first woman to ever imply that I'm gay, which couldn't be father from the truth. I didn't think I was "prettier" or "smarter" than her, I certainly did not try to make any kind of "beauty pageant" with her, and she sure as hell did not tell me last night that she thought I was gay. WTF is wrong with some women, seriously? Is it beyond people to not be so vindictive? I just don't get it, I wasn't talking myself up last night, she spent all the time talking me up, and she was seriously an HB9 I shit you not, hottest woman I've dated to date. I did all the good PUA stuff, made good eye contact, I didn't do the "happy hands". I talk deeper and slower these days. I batted down her defenses (we were at a restaurant together) and subtly made my way into sitting next to her instead of across from her (at first she said she wanted to look at me so she wouldn't let me sit by her), then I put my arm around her, came in close broke the personal bubble for a bit. I asked her if she was adventurous she said yes, asked her if she was a good kisser she said yes, and I said we should see, she complied, sparks flew, and we were doing a LOT of kino but she eventually said she had to go and told me she wanted to see me on Friday, then I get THIS SHIT today. I'm so pissed. |

Are you sure that this was directed at you? What assurance do you have that you're Date #6? Either way, posting something like that on her profile is really just a DHV for her, that she's purposefully doing, of course. I'd hang with her again, and see how she acts with you. Don't bring this up or anything. If she still seems like all systems go, then maybe it wasn't directed at you, or maybe she was just posting rather stuff on her profile to make herself seem "cool", because she's rather insecure. If she's acting weird with you, then just drop her and move on to the next ten girls. |

I figured it all out. This girl was just being really immature because she was low-confident and I should have paid closer attention to the signs during the date. I don't need that so I'm moving on.

"The below is for Date Number so-and-so 1) Has LOW self-esteem. Like 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea LOW. 2) Is delusional. She probably believes in Flying Pigs and all that. 3) Fake, fake woman. She's worse than those 20 bucks Nike rip-off shoes which people buy on the streets. God help her. " |

" I agree with you and it should have been really obvious to me on our date that she was very low confident when she was complimenting me on looks every few minutes and downplaying hers. Sad part is, if she'd played her cards right and not pulled this crap the next day she'd have gotten my penis hahahahahhaha. Oh well, I settled for a k-close this go round, no need to get greedy when dealing with crazy. |

I would strongly encourage you to remove whatever response to this as well. DON'T FEED THE ANIMALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She may be good looking but she is a wackjob and good looking wackjobs are more dangerous than all the rest because people still bow down to and cater to them and their delusions. Don't do ANYTHING with this gal. You went on one date and there is already drama and nuttyness. just walk away and go on about your life and don't look back. This gal is just plain nuts and will always be a drama queen and is probably downright dangerous. |

Now this whole women thinking you are gay thing is a separate issue. The fact that other women have also wondered if you are gay is something that you should probably take a look at and do some self evaluation and if you have a trusted female friend it may be worth looking into. Now that doesn't mean that you should hit the panic button and it doesn't mean there is anything wrong with having some gay mannerisms or anything but if you are getting brushed off or instantly friendzoned by women you want to fuck because they are instantly assuming you are gay is a problem. For the most part straight is as straight does so if you are banging chicks then actions speak louder than Birkenstocks. One thing you may want to look at is how metro you actually are. Most women appreciate a guy that puts some pride and effort into his appearance and style but everyone is going to have an upper limit on what they think is nice vs at what point it makes them uncomfortable. Most straight guys really can't carry on a conversation about styles or beauty products so if some gal is complimenting your appearance just say thank you and then change the subject to her appearance or some other activity and tone down the beauty talk. Maybe talk about wanting to get a Harley or something LOL |

Totally agree. I blocked her and then she finally removed all her negative stuff (she had made a comment on her profile about another guy who said he was tall and turned out to be a midget), and put in her title some crap about finding serenity. This gal is drama, I've blocked her everywhere. She's the type who has to find fault with every man she encounters.

Why is it the hot ones are the craziest? "Sweetheart you're angry when you're beautiful." Anyone got any theories? The nearest I can figure is they get away with it, and men still chase them, so they see no value in developing social skills. |

Well I think you're actually right about all this and I have asked other female friends before what they thought and they said I was anything but gay to them, maybe a bit of a nerd but definitely not gay.Now that doesn't mean that you should hit the panic button and it doesn't mean there is anything wrong with having some gay mannerisms or anything but if you are getting brushed off or instantly friendzoned by women you want to fuck because they are instantly assuming you are gay is a problem. Most straight guys really can't carry on a conversation about styles or beauty products so if some gal is complimenting your appearance just say thank you and then change the subject to her appearance or some other activity and tone down the beauty talk. Maybe talk about wanting to get a Harley or something LOL Biggest few situations I've encountered with this: - One time a girl I dated (who lied about her cat dying to get me to come see her, and already had 2 b/fs at the time I didn't know about, long story...) said I spent a little too much time on my hair and she found it effeminate (this was when we were breaking up though, before then she said I was the best sex she'd ever had). - One time I was at Pete's Dueling Pianos and this girl grabbed me up and started dancing with me, when we were done I asked for her phone # and she said she was married but her brother would loooooooove me. (The girl actually playing the piano said, "That was some serious ass shaking dude.") - Then this situation... The one about the dancing yeah I can chalk that up to the dancing... the other two, I think it really more so comes down to confidence. Both of these girls are obvious drama queens, and both tried to accuse me of seeing other women (yes even this girl was asking me more than once about how many other girls I was dating). I think that's the real prob here they want to find fault with me and can't so I *MUST* be gay according to them. Who needs that shit? I also may be coming on a little strong with my pickup, I work fairly fast with kino/escalation when I'm feeling on top of my game and I'm in a sexual mood, I could see where that might be threatening to some girls as if I'm putting on an act. |

forget about this girl, not worth the time. just take it as a learning experience. either you accept that you are viewed this way and thats who you are, or adapt your personality accordingly if you don't want to be viewed that way. there are plenty of metrosexual guys that get plenty of women. you landed a date with an HB9, not many guys can even say they have that under their belt and i think its safe to make the assumption that you could probably find others. good luck |
