Alright, Lately ive been getting some contradictory advice. Namely, how to cold approach properly. Ive been told that to do a proper approach, you need to: 1. observe before she makes eye contact, something interesting she is wearing/doing. NEVER LOOKS. 2. Glance but dont stare. try to make eye contact. Once you get eye contact, smile. 3. Holding eye contact, approach. Target may glance away to avoid the awkwardness as you approach. This is normal. 4. Walk up to her, deliver opener (Hey, that's a very interesting (scarf/dress/necklace/ring) you've got there. You get it around here? 5.If target is interested in conversing, then great, you're making small talk. Otherwise if she ignores you: Jeez, no wonder nobody talks to you. Just trying to strike up conversation here. (wait for reply, if still none, walk away, if she's a normal person or just plain shy, she should make some lame excuse) (copied n pasted) I have been told that the three second rule is also important. Now, I am aware that the three second rule applies from the moment you see a HB, but then how does the sequence above tie in? |

everything you wrote up above is retarded, you can open any way you want, its really not as important as the social proof you convey, and the bodylanguage and verbal tonality you project on opening, what you really want to focus on, is emotional state on your open, and what your goals are, next it is helpfull to learn to read body language, and notice approach invites, girls in your peripheral vision that actively seek eye contact with you without you seeking it 1st (they are checking you out looking in your direction etc.), they look at you, you look at them and hold eye contact, they maintain eye contact and smile, or you look at them and hold eye contact, they look away and touch hair/cross arm over chest and scratch clavical/rub forearm/scratch between thumb and index finger or you look at them, they look away, when you are getting close they take a 2nd look/ or after they pass you they look back again or do the above (hair touch etc.) or a girl does hair touch etc. when you are close to her, or girl randomly opens you, in all these cases, try a direct opener, you will probably like your results, all that shit you listed, is unnessicary, if your in state (happy) you should allready be smiling, and you can seriously open with anything you want as long as you exude confidence and social warmth via state, that being said if you smell like shit, and are wearing clothes that scream IM HOMELESS, you probably won't open very consistantly, indirect is probably a nice bet if you didn't get approach invites, but if you just want to get laid direct and playing to the numbers will be the quickest route, |
