Post subject:  Ex girlfriend asked if I was seeing anyone..
Well my ex girlfriend called and asked me if I was seeing anyone.
She even mentioned a couple of names.
I said the name didn't ring a bell and then she asked me again and I said that I'm not seeing anyone special.
I said I had to go as I was getting ready to out and said that I would talk to her later or something.

She has now texted me saying this..

Sorry for being nosey. But if you are seeing someone I'm happy for you, and I won't tell anyone because you obviously don't want people to know. x


I really want her back to be honest.
What do people think to this ?

Well, it's obvious you can get her back but why is she your ex? Is it really worth going back there? Hell, if anything you can at least get some pussy from it.

Call her. Tell her in a firm voice that NO, you are not seeing anyone. Ask her why she said what she said. Cross that. Make her tell you why she said what she said.

She replied with..

Umm no. Does it ever ? I did just meet a guy called Fabio Monaco tho. Which is an awesome name! You ? x'

Then I replied with..
Well it won't with that attitude! Haha geek! Just chillin. x

No reply as of yet. been a couple of hours too..

She might just be busy. Don't sweat it. Instant communication has made people impatient.

Don't get caught in a lie. If you are seeing someone, but you want this girl back, you gotta drop the other one - unless they run in different circles...

Anyway, if you want a legit relationship, running game isn't the way to do it. You have to be yourself. You can't run the game forever, or you'll eventually trip up.

Well, my main suggestion is that PUA forum might not be the best place to get tips on a legit relationship.

Other than that, be yourself. Maintain your personal business, maintain your body, and don't be needy. Don't let your feelings be influenced by the feelings of others (her especially). Know what you want and work for it. Nothing comes free - be ready to invest time in things that she's interested in, but don't neglect yourself. Absence makes the heart grow fonder, so don't spend all your time with her only. Maintain your friends no matter what.

Yeah I totally agree with everything you said.

I'm just not sure what my next step should be really.

Should I sit back a bit or should I ask her to meet up and work on it from there.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the goal of a pickup artist to "get the girl" by whatever means necessary? That's not a recipe for a lasting relationship, though it may be exactly the ticket for certain people.

In fact, my experiences over the last six or seven years have very much turned me off from long-term monogamous relationships, at least for now. There are too many women out there who are down for so many things that I just don't want to be tied down.

In my bad forum etiquette, I didn't read up on all the noob stuff you guys have here. Looks like you cover all (or at least most) of the bases. You even outright address the issues with LTR's and "unnatural" game. I'm pleased to see that.

That's one of the things about ambiguity like "might" - you can always take a step back and reevaluate without looking like a complete ass. Here, I just showed my ass by speaking before I knew the forum well. My apologies to anyone who might have taken offense.

She then replied with..

No. I just didn't know what to say.

I'm sorry but this looks like a losing battle. Her non response to your messages means that she isn't really looking to rekindle the flame as was evident by her reply of "I did not know what to say".

Move on.

Find someone else.

That's all I can suggest.
