The first book I ever read on PU was The Layguide by Tony Clink, and every time I look back on it, I realize it was an excellent book to start out with. It covers a pretty wide range of topics, explains it easy enough even for complete AFCs, and introduces other resources that you can bounce to as well. |

"The Physical Game" By Ozzie (of RSD) or "The 4 elements of game" by Rob Judge Both are great. 60s stuff is a great choice after either of those. |

I need to read the Layguide - i've heard a lot of good things about this. I am currently reading the "Game" and it reads like a story as opposed to an instructional text book and is therfore very easy to read and get into.
