Post subject:  Only when drunk

I am only able to close when I have alcohol in my system.
So obviously I am only good at Club game and I am terrible at day game.

Would there be a specific reason for this?

Yep, you can only pull the trigger when your inhibitions are down cos if it doesn't go to plan you have something to blame. "She didn't like me cos I was too drunk", "I was too forward cos I was drunk and it put her off", "my game was off, I coulda done it if I was sober"... see what I mean? This kind of rationalisation is much easier for most guys than accepting the truth that some girls just don't wanna jump your bones nomatter what. It's not a big deal, but plenty of guys have a real hard time getting to grips with it. That's why all these systems that guarantee success are such big business. Obviously being too drunk is a turn off for a lot of girls... but you know what I mean, it's easier to blame the drink if a girl turns you down than accept that it just wasn't gonna happen regardless of how you played your cards.

When you're not drinking, you can't loosen up... you care too much about what people think about you, how they might react, etc. And with booze, you're able to let go of all that. There's a reason alcohol is the most popular drug in the world... it gives people an excuse to open up, and when something goes wrong they can blame the drink. Even if you're a complete lunatic when you're drunk, you can still be respected cos it's "not really your fault". You have nothing to blame when you're sober, so if you get rejected by a girl, you're gonna take it personally. You need to get out of your head and just do it anyway, there's nothing to be afraid of. Realise that it's NEVER personal. And it's never a loss.

A friend of mine had the same problem and we did a little experiment that worked beautifully. Go out 5 times with a wing without drinking and try to focus on learning, just learn everything you can even if it means running to the bathroom every now and then just to write some notes down to remind you of stuff later. In those five times you will notice your problem is really just a lack of skillset and you have a place to start on your road to getting really good at this. Next, compare your improvement to the last five times you went out and drank alot. Let me know how it went for you! Good Luck!
