Need advice on this little problem. I went out for coffee with this HB8. I knew her from before, and we were flirting with each other. She had a bf then, so I didn't make a move. She breaks up with him and her FB status goes to Single. I see her again at work (She comes for flying lessons and I am her instructor) and she tells me how she has broken up with her bf and some guy asked her out but she doesn't wanna go out with him. I then ask her if she wants to go out for coffee that night. She agrees and we make arrangements to meet up. The date goes well, no awkward moments, I make her laugh. But I don't get many opportunities for kino. But at the end of the night, I decide to just go for it and kiss her. She backs away. I laugh it off and she texts me end of the night, 'I can't believe you did that lol' I reply, 'Would you like me to do it again?' Her: 'I am in shock' Me: 'You're a bad kisser btw' Her: 'You surprised me and I wasn't ready for it.' Me: 'Anyway, good night, I enjoyed your company tonight.' Her: 'Haha, thanx good night.' Later on that week, she has an operation. The next day I go and see her at her house with some flowers and an external hard drive full of movies. She loves this. I spend a bit of time and she tries to cook some dinner. I tell her not to worry about it. A bit later I leave and I give her a kiss on the cheek and she giggles. I keep texting her once every couple of days asking her how shes doing. I then try making plans to get her out for dinner and movie. The dinner plan, she cancels as she says shes not feeling upto it to travel very far. I make a plan to see a movie the next day to which she replies that I should book her at least one day in advance. So, I shift the movie night to another day. I end up cancelling the movie night. A week goes by, I don't text her. I don't get any contact from her. So I text her the following: Me: Hows it going? Any plans for friday? Her: I am alright. Nothing planned for friday, how was your New Zealand trip? Me: Have you seen Hangover 2? NZ trip didn't happen due to Volcanic Ash. But something tells me that you have a smile on your face after seeing that I didn't go. Her: Yep I have seen it. You need to get your head out of your ass, haha. Her: And I need to talk to you about that night you tried kiss me, what was that about? Me: You wanna talk about it now? I am free, you can call or otherwise we can talk about it on Friday. Her: Lets talk Friday. Me: 7.30? Her: I will let you know, I might be working late. Me: Make up your mind woman, I could be doing other things instead. Her: I was talking about the time. I don't reply. I don't text till friday. Friday comes, I hear nothing from her. I decide to catch up with other friends. So, yesterday I send her a text saying 'Yo Princess, I need my external hard drive back.' No reply. Now, I am not really interested in getting back with her, I just need my hard drive back. I told her when I gave her the hard drive to give it back when she was done with it. I was probably a challenge to her at the start as I didn't shower her with attention, laughed at her, pranked her... As soon as I gave in with flowers and being a bit nice, I got walked over. What do you guys think? My hard drive is gone and don't bother chasing it as she will use it to inflate her ego? Or, shes pissed at me that I didn't text her on friday to catch up and is ignoring me to see if I will give chase? |

Seeing how cheap harddrives are today best to forget about it. Now if there is something valueable on the hard drive that you can't replace take her to court. |

You probably became the nice guy to her, yes it was a thoughtful thing to do, however taking flowers and films over for her was probably too nice before you've got anything serious going on, let her earn the flowers before |

Just gonna throw it out there mate, why are you posting on a PUA forum saying you have no plans to get back with her and you just want your HD back and then going onto ask whether you should chase it in worry of inflating her ego? If you want your HD call her, text her do whatever it takes, who gives a fuck if it means she gets an inflated ego - you're not going after her are you? - it is your fucking hard drive, she has no right to keep it unwarranted. I'd hazard a bet she isn't even using it! If you want to get with her (which sounds like a no go because she doesn't seem all that into you, more into validation) do that anyway and then just give her radio silence before starting over in a month or so. |

Thanx for the replies. I realize my mistake. Got done for being nice. I thought under the circumstances that she had an operation I could be a little nice. Never again will I get any girl flowers or whatever unless I cum on her face. This is my promise! I think even though I was cocky n funny and giving her shit, I was always texting every second day. Shes a typical 8, who thinks shes a 10. She herself has mentioned that shes God's gift to men. I laughed at that. Warning bells were ringing, but I didn't take notice. Now, I have text her in the morning, 'I was genuinely interested in getting to know you and hence I asked you to come out. If you don't want to come out, I completely understand, but you not replying to my text is rude.' Now, I based this on that regardless of what happens, I gotta keep my cool. Guess what? No reply. Now, if I call her, shes gonna ignore my calls. But I feel like if I let this go, I am rolling over and giving up. Now, if I show up at her house, that I feel is crossing the line. Edit: I gave her a call, she didn't pick up, so I left a message. I got a message from her on FB saying she has no credit and shes at work. I replied that she should pass on the hard drive to her SPAM who I am suppose to be catching up with later on in the week. |

Alright, so she sent me a reply on Fb saying she will pass on the Hard drive. She also gave me the LJBF line and she apologized if she came across as being rude. Anyway this was my reply Quote: Apology accepted, don't worry about it : )

So wait...you botched your k-close and then you bring her flowers and a hard drive with movies and you didn't stay to watch the movies with her..am I missing something here? You should have told her we're watching "whatever the fuck has the longest dialog" and then you should have made you're move right then and there. But I HIGHLY doubt that would have worked anyway since you probably sat across from her when you took her out for coffee and the two of you didn't have much kino. Just next her and find someone else. And next time, get plenty of kino and flirting in right from the start. And no gifts unless she deserves them!! |
