Hey everyone. Where I am now: I'm 26, about to start a Phd in September. Moved into the city a few months earlier so I could get used to the environment, earn some money and build up a good social circle. I'm Scottish but I only save the kilt for special occasions. Background For a very long time I was extremely scared about sex and pretty shy around girls. I didnt believe in sex before marriage. At 21 I had a change of heart. I went travelling, lost my virginity and realised I'd missed out on a lot. Around that time I read the game. I got more involved, I read about it, I followed it, I LOVED it. I had a few awesome jobs, visited lots of countries and had a hell of a lot of fun. I decided to follow my dream of getting a Phd and back to school I went. The Challenge As I returned from campus after a meeting with my supervisor for next year, I see someone I haven't seen in around six or seven years. An ex. She didn't recognise me straight away (I've changed a hell of a lot) - but I did her. That is a poor choice of words perhaps - as I certainly never 'did' her when I was 18, much to her immense frustration. Turns out she's at med school. I kept it quick - I had an interview in two minutes working at the residence office this summer. She seemed taken aback at how much I'd changed - five years of working out, confidence and a sense of style(when there previously was none) can do that. A week later, I'd made a few friends so we decide to go to the campus bar. I see my ex and her friends there. I'd collected a few numbers that night already, and I see one of her friends approach me. The masters student I'd n-closed earlier came back and pretty much turfed her out mid-conversation. Got me thinking - I never fucked my ex, what would it be like? And how do I do it? I have no idea what she is like after all these years, or even if she is single. After we broke up I heard of other guys hitting on her and getting nowhere, she had a class A bitch shield and not so much LMR as FMR. Obviously I never tried to fuck her myself, and I know she really wanted to fuck me. Im not on facebook. Getting her number would be easy but anything physical could be tricky. I have had no reason to try and sleep with an ex in the past, and nothing but mild curiosity is tempting me now. I could easily f-close a a few of her friends, Ive done this in the past in order to get to a girl and it works. Btw, any guys thinking of post grad education - do it. In the UK, it seems you get a hell of a lot of free time and you're just as involved in campus life. You're older, wiser, and the undergrad girls love you for it. You're overanalyzing the whole thing. I don't know if it really matters what you do as long as you get off your ass and do something. It's been a long time and you have changed a lot. There's no reason to think she hasn't matured and changed a lot too. I'd say walk up to her, reintroduce yourself and start flirting with her and give off some sexual vibes right in the first few seconds. She will already have a certain comfort with you since you were pretty asexual with her years ago so she won't be expecting you to hit on her.....So hit on her and hit on her hard. Be a sexual being. |

Thanks. I am overthinking it. I can see why even decent PUAs struggle with their exes. It should be easy - I'll type up the LR once it happens. |
