When they say

a) yeah, I love you too (at the very beginning in a half jokingly way)
b) when they keep on saying that after some time, over and over again

best replies?

See, second one is really a challenge. Let's say you're with someone for some time, "sweet dreams" - when you get that almost every night, what do you reply to that?
"you too" - every time is really dull for both
something cocky and funny.... all of the time is even worse
ignoring it ...... ?

Is it just me or if you're too reserved and trying not to invest emotionally, chicks become reserved as well and they often have an easier time forgetting about you if they decide to do so??

the answer is: variety.

one time: i really love you too

the next time: eh, you're ok (chuckle)

the next time: say what? nuh uh!

the next time: (you say it first)

just be spontaneous

a) Yeah, I love me too.

b) Depends, if she's expecting you to say it back to her, it really doesn't matter what you say, she's really just testing you to see if you will say it back. Not saying it back isn't necessarily a bad thing. If she's just testing the waters the first time, this will let her know you are not ready to say it back yet. But if she's saying it repeatedly and not getting an "I love you" back, she's eventually going to leave. This isn't really her fault, she wouldn't have said it if she didn't get the impression that the relationship was at a serious point. If you didn't want her to get to this point, you should have had a talk to her way earlier about the nature of the relationship. Obviously this is generalized advice, all women are different and will react differently.

Yes, exactly! (And I agree with all three responses also)

So, in the beginning you can play around with answers, and if you decide so, and you do fall into a more relationship-zone you can become a bit more assuring with your responses, but what I still wonder about is that situation when you:

get a girl by gaming, you keep her guessing, you then start to be a bit more predictable for her and then you find yourself in a dilemma where you're not sure whether to
-tease her and risk her getting the impression of "ah he's never gonna be safe for me, and never be serious" "so I better find someone more >>safe and nice

" (even though she might just think she wants that, when in fact in her quest for that someone she find out (doesnt find out) that she just wants some sex and one night stands here and there
-start playing her less, not change for her or something, just become more assuring and safer, and again risk of her ending up with a douche over a playa

I always wonder how to cross the line and make a good transition between -the guy who seduced me- (and you used playing for that) to -the guy who is still freakingly fun and unpredictable enough to thrill me and keep me aroused, but I feel he is a keeper (and want to stay with him for some time)
