I know you don't want to be the one paying for her dinner on a first date, but it seems like the most of the solutions is finding a way for her to pay for both of you. I am talking to a girl and we're both in college, and close to broke. I have no problem with her paying for her own meal, but I don't think it is a good idea to make her pay for mine. Is there a good way to show her that I'm not going to pay, but still respect her monetary issues? |

There's nothing wrong with having her pay for her own meal and not yours. The thing is to not just automatically pay for her meal because then you look AFC. Its not even against the rules to pay for things for her from time to time, you just don't want to be forking out money for everything automatically, you want to make it an agreement where you buy the dinner and she buys drinks, or you buy some candy at the movie and she buys the pop or popcorn. The goal is to strive to equality. In my opinion you don't want to be getting her to pay for everything for you (unless she's your sugar momma |

First of all, do not take girls to dinner as a 'date'. It should be much further along than that (day4, day5 time frame) Second of all, do not take girls to movies as a date (again day4, day5 stuff) Broke college student? Go for ice cream, go for a walk, go window shopping, go to the library..... Go for something inexpensive. She should pay her share. |

Agree with above poster, do not go on 1st date or second or third even to some place AFC (in other words the generic places some other dude would take her) Tell her you have a surprise, and if you drive pick her up (if not ull have to figure out how to meet up with her), then take her some place like... DAY -park -window shop...try clothes on, but make it goofy (aka dunt bother with vic secret unless she wants to -skate (if she doesnt know how, teach her...if she knows how and you dont...er...) -library (do the dateing for dummies opener, role play) NIGHT -park -go for a walk -goto a bar/club (if you can dance this might work in your favor) -go carts (depends on girl) -house party (someone you have high social status with, maybe your friends) **NOT A FRAT PARTY** Also i wouldnt pay for anything (for her) personally till im at least getting oral Simply tell her (if needed) that you view women as equals in a relationship, the good and the bad. |

I've been getting a lot of mileage from carving pumpkins. Go by a $3 stencil kit and have her bring a pumpkin. Or buy it yourself. |

That's the second funniest thing I've read all day. The first funniest was just so vulgar (and I don't want to deal with copyright infringement) that I won't post it.
