Hello, I'm just going to give a rough outline of what happened with this girl and I. So basically, we dated for a very short period of time and then she dumped me because her closest friends are moving and she couldnt spend enough time with me... throughout the rest of the year though (this happened february'ish?) she kept saying how i had nothing to do with it etc. all of her friends would say she regretted dumping me. So, end of the year comes around and i said "i love you" (yes , i realize this was an idiotic move on my part) and then she said that she loved me too, so i thought wow this is awesome. But for some odd reason she doesnt want to get in a relationship once her friend is gone because of a lack of trust (this is from her friends point of view). So basically, i realize that it really is not an option , like a relationship that is with her. But for some odd reason I cannot get her out of my head. I've tried those nlp things that people suggested like the "burning her out' etc. I also hooked up with an ex just to see if i could get into her so that im not just in a hole i cannot get out of with her, yet i still cannot stop thinking about her. She shows interest when we are talking and shit, and she always texts me and then i didnt respond to texts for a day or two and shes like "is everything okay? you went awol" so I just , I just want to figure out how to get her out of my head because i cant stop thinking about her and how much i want her. My friend thinks its because shes sort of like an unfinished project and even though i can start new projects im going to always want to finish that one? if that makes any sense? I dont know if this should have been posted in relationships but i thought it would work for this because its been a "sticking point" this whole year.

If you don't want to feel for her anymore the best way to do that is to jump to the next girl. You also need to minimize contact with her to the bare minimum if any at all. You need try your best and forget about her.
