here's the situation. my older brother is my best friend. the guy taught me everything i know about everything in life. he is in a bad spot in his life right now. i'll give the short version of how he ended up there. his twenties: super popular, ladies man, pussy magnet, pimp daddy (the downfall, he never learned how to "pick up" chicks, they flocked to him) his thirties: as life got more "adult", the flood of pussy stopped, and he ended up getting with and marrying a HB5 (nasty slob bitch, never deserved a good guy like my brother) recent: he is 40. he and his wife divorced about 18 months ago, and the poor bastard can't score a woman to save his life. he thinks it's because he is ugly, or old, or stupid, or something. he has SERIOUS inner game (self-confidence) problems going on. of course, none of that is true. he is a good-looking, cool, attactive-type dude, but since he isn't getting any action, he is convinced otherwise. i have been talking with him periodically and explaining to him that his problem is that HE HAS NO GAME and never had to develop any due to his past. he is on board with this idea and loves what i've taught him about the pua mindset. he has been implementing some of it, very basic stuff (such as approaching) and reporting back to me with mixed-to-positive results. anyway, he is a good guy and he needs to get laid, lol. and bros look out for bros, right? mancode i'm pretty sure. so, my question: what is a good book that keeps it simple and teaches about inner game and the basic principles of pua? he doesn't need complicated strategies or any of that bullshit, no canned routines, or one-liners. because he is, by nature, a cool social guy. he just needs to learn the basics of emanating confidence, building attraction, and inner game, etc, and some of the basic do's and don'ts. |

The Art of Mackin` and The Mack Within. Get both books for him. Both books were written for a African American male audience, but the principles are solid. They are easy reads with no overly intellectualized jargon. No routines, all game. I highly reccomend those two. |

that stuff is too advanced for him. he basically needs a basic "introduction" to pickup. which is why that book "mode one" recommended above is perfect. it's about changing your mindframe and going direct. that's something my bro used to be good at, but he's got that social conditioning telling him it's "bad" to show girls you are attracted to them. maybe he can move on to those that you recommended later on when he's ready to digest more of this stuff. i have no doubt once he implements some of this stuff, he'll be right back on his game. then...he owes me a 12 pack.

i recommend going to a psychologist.....40 years .. this guy is stuck in that behaviour for such a long time - it would be hard for himself to unwire all those neuro-associations. at this point i give up at most people - because some advice or some short quotes won't work ... people like this need daily help. you cannot watch a program and think you will get better.. you will have to invest daily and try to change your behaviour daily. most guys think knowledge gives them better results .. the truth is that learning is behaviour change , learning isn't the accumalation of knowledge. Quote: but he's got that social conditioning telling him it's "bad" to show girls you are attracted to them what ???? .... ? no wonder why he got diforced .. he got programmed by that bitch. get him into this forum , it will take many months to change his behaviour and he needs alot of supervision - maybe hook him up with a psychologist. if you want material i recommend ; ''man training '' by david deangelo .. yes i know it's 40 hours of material but at least you are getting something. it's about 20 DVDs ... i don't recommend any book ( right now ) because it's just takes more energy to read .. watching a video is more easy and you can take side notes etc. just to make sure .. mack .. your secrets are safe with me as well why mack doesn't take his brother out ? i think mack has some inner game issues as well - he is not motivated enough because he probably doesn't want a relationship. |
