Post subject:  Looking for some real "no shit" truth here

I'm kind of going through a transition period in my life. I'm 46, my wife kicked my ass to the curb a few years ago, and I've been trying to move on with my life. I'm doing OK meeting women, mostly through the online dating game, and I have a semi-steady stream of women coming and going with enough poon interspersed to keep me from developing DSB (deadly sperm buildup). Semi-steady is OK, but I'd like to upgrade and quit wasting time with (and money on) women who aren't going to give me what I want.

So here's my question. Does this PUA shit really work? A few years ago there was a field school here in my home city and I seriously contemplated going. But frankly I was a little light in the wallet and coming off some surgery so I wasn't really in the best place to give it a try. But now I'm feeling good, and I've got the bucks to make the investment. So I'm wondering if this forum is a good place to start to build my game, or should I go right to the heavy artillery and get some intensive training?

All input much appreciated. Peace out.

if you have the money for a workshop, it will be a better experience, but most of us dont have the money for it or the time, so this is a great place to start, go to your bookstore, grab a couple books, read up on them, if you have questions about the material, use the search, if nothing comes up, please ask and there will be plenty of people wanting to help

1) Welcome
2) your age doesn't fucking matter
3) yes this shit works. it's human psychology at its best
4) go to a workshop if you can afford it or need somebody to push you and give you direct feedback on your game

Me personally, I wouldn't do the workshops because I don't have a problem approaching or care if I'm blown out in a set. Shit happens and I just laugh it off.

Another good place for advice is

Watch out though, the mods/admins are forum nazis and ban/give warnings for the stupidest shit ever. I suggest reading all the Guidelines before posting.
