I went to the record store today and seen the usual rock chick that I make conversation with. anyway we were talking bout a band the other day and as soon as I walked in she put it on! so we talked bout the band for 10 minutes! (this is like first time we'd had 1 on 1 convo its usually a 3 set with her workmates). and we kept pretty good eye contact but eventually after we ran out of things to say bout the band I bailed... I wanted to number close but she was working it would have been pretty out the blue. so my questions are: was I getting major IoI's from this girl? and if so whats my next move ? eg. how to get on to number swapping or maybe even an instadate? gettin alot more confident but still only had the balls to aproach girls while there working. IOI's are Indicators of Interest... When you were talking, did she play with her hair, did she touch you (arm, knee, hand), does she lean in to talk to you, if you hold hands and you squeeze hers does she squeeze back... The list goes on! With your story, it's unable to determine if she gave you any IOI because you left out the details that would tell us that. You holding a conversation for 10 minutes, I guess could be an IOI, but who's to say. |

next time you go in there, be walking around looking busy; on the phone with someone talking about buisness, it demonstrates a little bit of value in her eyes. then after you hang up just say "hey troublemaker" she'll say hey back or whats up.. if she asks why youre a troublemaker, just say "thats not important" and smile.. then ask her if she heard of some new rock cd that just came out.. she'll say nah.. then stare at her for 4 seconds with the wtf look on your face and tell her "you just lost points for that..". shel laugh and might ask points to what.. if she does ask say "to my cool test. godd." or somethin like that. then develop reppor(talk about last convo you guys had?)... then say "oh I think I just noticed something about you I dont think anyone else has.[curiosity hooking]"..shell be like "omg what".. then just say "ah wait what time is it?" shell say its blah blah.. you say "shit. i gotta go, my friends are waiting for me." then take two steps away from her, dont say bye, just take two steps away like your gonna go meet your friends, then turn back and tell her "hey you know what though... let me get your number before i head out. else ill be regretting not getting it all day [hand her your cell. smile]. |

haha yeah I guess it does look like a lol haha least I know how to get ur attention  thanks to the last post its helped the most this is my plan for monday when I see her opener: jeez do u like work here now ? and ask how her weekend went mid game: talk about the cd am about to get and say I seen the band live sometime before then I'll point out that she looks like the type that goes to alot of gigs n rock concerts then talk about festivals I dont know if I should number close after talking to her twice hows this plan? |

Eye contact is a powerful thing. 2 people enter a different world when it goes beyond that typical 3-4 seconds. Sounds like half the battle's won. Close. Kryptonic's suggestion for a close sounds gold. But hey, if you're feelin froggy, why not ask her to meet up somewhere for lunch? Enjoy, H!j!nx |

Seems tough to call, she could just be a friendly person. I personally think any girl willing to give you 10 minutes of their time even at work is interested at least somewhat. Especially if she replayed the music, that means she remembered you. |
