A lot of times in a cafe or restaurant you find seating in such a way that on one side of the table there's a bench (leaning against the wall), and on the other side there's a chair. So if you're out with a girl, where's the best place to sit?

Letting her sit with her back to the wall lets her see the whole room and perhaps make her feel more comfortable. But it gives her more value and she can see everything going on in the room.

On the other side, if you sit against the wall, she can only see you, you have higher value, but she might feel uncomfortable because there's a lot of things going on behind her that she can't see.

Any thoughts?

She should be facing you and only you!

Why would she be uncomfortable with the things happening behind her if your there!

Don't over think it! Keep calm! Your the man!

I'm not overthinking it; I know that in the grand scheme of things it's not very important, but it's just one of those minor things that might give you a 1% advantage.

Don't you feel slightly more relaxed and at-ease when you're leaning against a wall rather than being in the middle of a room?

Yeah, I guess...

But when your with a guy/girl you like you don't really care.

Surely by the time you ask them for dinner and they say yes then they are comfortable with being around.

Just because they said yes to go out with you doesn't mean you have to let your game slack!

Really?
To answer your question let her choose a seat if you're worried about this.
She will be comfortable where ever she sits.
Remember she decided to go out with you. She will give you attention any where she sits.

Srsly, take the one you like the most. I actually prefer to sit with my back against the wall, that way I can see everything. But it's not an unbreakable rule

My back against the wall i don't like people sitting behind me all that much and I need to be able to see everyone coming and going in case I see someone I know and either want to say Hi to or avoid.

EXACTLY what she will be thinking too, so the question is, who needs this comfort/power more?

That's like saying it doesn't matter what you wear because if she likes you she will like you anyway and she's already decided to go out with you.

But we all know that it does matter.. not very much, but it does.

Take an even higher approach as the guy above stated by being uncliché and sitting on the same side as her facing the people. It shows your willing to be different and besides that way you can always talk about the people in the restaurant during dull moments.

In all honestly, analyzing every aspect of life is not important. Do what ever comes natural dude. Don't worry yourself with small details that the chick isn't worried about in the first place. If you present yourself and your frame correctly before even entering the restaurant it won't even matter because the girl will feel comfterable with whatever you decide.

On your first dates, your job is to 'sell yourself' and gain her attraction for YOU. Sure. . . the fancy bar, the cool chandelier, and the fountain in the restaurant are cool but you're not expecting her to kiss the marble statue later on that night. You're expecting her to kiss YOU. And no, making her feel like a queen will not inspire her to drop her panties.
