What do you guys think of this? http://blog.howtogetyourexbackfast.com/ It seems to be a great way of reframing, getting some space to sort out your one-itis, showing that your world doesn't revolve around her, and at the same time not insulting her and making her think about you. I was wondering about the applicability of this strategy when you're young or when you weren't officially in a relationship - you were just dating for some period of time and then screwed things up. Isn't it a bit too serious and dramatic for these cases? ----------- If you don't wanna dig through that whole page I'm gonna summarize it for you: It's a strategy that you can apply to get your ex back after she broke up with you, but you still contact each other. I tells you to send to her the message: "I agree with you about the decision to break up, I really believe it was the best thing for both of us. I have some big decisions to make and I need some time to think them over. I would really appreciate it if you didn’t contact me during this time. I will be in touch when I am ready." (I'm quoting that webpage) You spend that time of no contact on working on your inner game, and then, when you're ready, after a month or so, you reinitiate contact, meet up with her and start building attraction again. |

Well, I did it and it didn't help. At all. I mean there is contact between us but it's just being hard to get and ballbusting... And building attraction again is hard too... |

I didn't read any of it...but I kinda feel like when a relationship hasrun its course, it is over. Even if you are completely heartbroken over it, it doesn't really change anything. I didn't read the whole thing, but from the summary I understand what is going on. I have done this during 2 breakups. One was my first gf, n one the only girl I've ever been madly in love with. I would do all these things n make whatever bullshit changes to try to conform to what they wanted. End of the day, even if you do fuck them after, its never the same. Its just comfortable and seems normal so ppl just go with it. I actually just fucked the girl who I was Crazy in love with a couple months ago when she was having problems with her bf, the guy she got with after me. My revenge was him calling her at 5:30 am cause she wasn't in their bed, she was in mine. My best advice is to take the heartbreak n accept it. After you completely let go of that attachment, you will be able to do whatever you like because you will get back to normal. If you wanna talk to your x after that is fine, you may be extremely close. Just remember you will never recapture that first attraction u felt, you can only attempt to recreate it. Im not saying you can't fuck her, or that you can't get back together n it be great...im just saying that I have found it is better to let go of the past n move on with your life. Instead of trying to relive the past, enjoy n appreciate you had it, and get ready for the future. We r constantly changing and evolving. To stop is to get passed by. I hope this gives you some insight or at least somethings to ponder. |

I guess the whole idea is to project that you've changed by disappearing and reappearing in a different frame (you weren't chasing, crying or blaming her) - I'm not experienced but I believe that when after that break you're again the same guy that she fell in love with - it might do the job. And also this message is designed so that if she still cares about you as a person - she might start worrying and wondering what decisions you were talking about, so it also creates mystery and makes her invest in you. And this is my main question: Quote: I was wondering about the applicability of this strategy when you're young or when you weren't officially in a relationship - you were just dating for some period of time and then screwed things up. Isn't it a bit too serious and dramatic for these cases?

My ex was why I got into this stuff, not so much to get her back but to get back to where I was before I met her. I am supposed to go on vacation with her in a few weeks... which will be weird. But, I started doing all these little changes to myself, how I dress, pierced my ear, looking to get a tattoo and she's all freaking out like "too much too soon". Now she moved like an hour and a half from where I used to live and hadn't seen what I was talking about and I stopped to visit her and she was like oh, that doesn't look bad at all. But the changes in how I handle her, saying no etc. has really pissed her off. She quit talking to me period for now. I'm not really concerned about it. She also got really snarky when I was telling her, as a friend would another friend, about this new girl I am talking to... It's kinda fun. LMAO |

the question is why do you want to get back with an ex? is it because you actually want to get back with her or is it you dont want to be single and have to start over or that she is the best your ever going to get? |
