Post subject:  WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?!?!?!

This is going to be a long a post, just a warning.

So there is this girl at my college who i will call model chick (cause she models), and me and her always talk and one day i told her that i just saw the new movie Fast Five, when i told her she made a sad face and said, "why didn't you call me?", so i took the oppurtunity to invite her out to see the new Thor movie last night. She said yes, we exchanged phone numbers and i told her i would call her on friday (yesterday).

So now it's friday and i call her at 1pm, she doesn't answer so i leave her a text saying:

Hey, this is sensetive nick (i used my real name though) let me know if you still want to go to that movie or not

She replies immediately:
It might need to be a late one... if we do go today... i have to be a dd (designated driver)

So then i wait a couple minutes and text her:

Hows 10:30

Then she doesn't text me back, i wait until 5:30 so 4 and a half hours later and just text a simple question mark, (don't want to seem too needy), still she doesn't text back until another two hours later at 7:30 saying:

Hey... im trying to get my mom to leave... where would you like to go see the movie... "twin peak" (which is just the local movie theatre)

and i text back:

ya twin peak

So then another two hours go by and now im starting to get a little worried since the movie starts in an hour but i dont want to sound needy so i text her again at 9:30 saying:

ok so i just got off work, the movie starts at 10:35, did you want to get subway before the movie? (I said subway because when i asked her out she was saying that she would buy me subway cause she didn't get me any the other day)

She replies:

Nah... im not hungry... are you

I say:

Ya but ill just get something at the theatre, do you want me to pick you up?

She says:

nah... its cool but a ride home would be nice

Then i say:

alright, so lets meet inside the mall in front of the theatre at 10:15 ok?

She says:

aye aye cap

Then we text back and forth a little with just some regular funny chit chat. So a little after 10:15 she finally shows up, but with her best girlfriend and her best girlfriend's boyfriend. We didn't talk about this but it wasn't akward or anything and we all had a good time at the movie, i had her cracking up the whole movie and i think she tried to throw some jealousy shit tests at me but i passed easily.

anyways, after the movie we all said are goodbyes with just a hug, and she ended just riding home with her friend, she said they were neighbors.

So today i texted her at around 1pm saying:

Hey, that was fun last night, we should hangout again sometime

Then she says:

yep yep...lol... I'm always up for a movie night

So my question is WHAT THE HELL DOES THAT MEAN?? I say that was fun and she says yep yep, and I say we should hangout again, and she says im always up for a movie night?!?!?! I don't know how to take that, SOMEBODY TELL ME WHAT THIS MEANS?!??!

Remember she is not as sophisticated with her language and signal sending as you are.

Sounds like you made her have a good time, but perhaps should have planned ahead to isolate her after the movie. She said she had to be DD and that is never fun. Maybe the next event or movie can be at your dorm or apartment or house or whatever without her friends to hold her back.

If you are looking for a direct analysis of what she wrote, that is hard to do without knowing the person personally. The "yep yep" sounds playful. As far as the "lol" I noticed I had a habit of appending "lol" to almost every sentence when chatting, perhaps hers is the same. Regarding "I'm always up for a movie night", judging from her reaction as you wrote from leaving her out of the first movie she just really loves movies and I mean what else could she say in response to what you said?

Thanks you guys for your imput, i guess i tend to have a need to over plan things so when she texted me back with, "yep yep...lol... i'm always up for a movie night", i wasn't expecting that because i had already pictured in my mind what the response would be, which is dumb i know because all that does is set my expectations up for failure.

I guess i was confused by her text because in my mind i thought she would just say something like, yeah i had a great time too and i would love to hangout again, but maybe that be too foward for her? i dunno.

P.S. im looking to make this chick my girlfriend not just some hit it and quit it girl

Just a few of my opinions here. No offense but your game is in shambles and screams 'needy'.

First, when you got her number never tell a girl when you're going to call her. Get the number and bail for a few days. It adds mystery and challenge to the mix. If you see her on campus before then say hi and keep walking or make small chit chat and act like you've got to be going. Be cordial but act like you've got somewhere to be.

Also, if it's a girl I've just met I never make weekend dates like that. I would have called her on Thursday and set the date up for the next Tuesday or something like that. Make her think you're banging Playmates over the weekend if you've just met her. When she's your actual girlfriend it's a different story.

When she texted you with "It might need to be a late one." she's taking control over the frame. I would've replied, "Well maybe we'll get together when your schedule is tighter." This will let her know who is in control.

You're asking too many questions through text about dinner (what she wants to eat....if the girl is 'into' you she won't care), where to meet, etc. A lot of girls like guys that are affirmative and know what they want, so have the date planned well in advance. None of this last minute stuff. You sound like you just got into the game. How long have you been reading the material?

Your game was over when she showed up not only with a girlfriend but another guy in tow. Don't lie to yourself and say this wasn't awkward. Admit to yourself you wanted to be alone with her. Group dates kill attraction. I hate to be the one to tell you this, but this girl is only looking at you as a friend. I might be wrong, but 9 times out of 10 bringing other people says that she doesn't want to be alone with you. Sorry thats the way it is. If a chick had done this to me I would've said I had to use the bathroom, walked off and left and never spoken to her again. I play hardball like that, but it's insulting to bring people along on an implied date.

She didn't ride home with you, gave you a nice friendly hug at the end of the date (I hug my grandma), and brought people with her on what you thought was a 'date'. Guy, what more info do you need? Read the signs. Your ego won't let you believe she's not into you because your interest level in her is so high.

Never text her after and say, "We should hangout." You don't "hangout". You DATE. Say the word to make it explicitly clear. I'd stay off the texting, but that's just me. Texting game is a whole other story.

I'll tell you what your question means. It means she's always ready to see another movie with her new best friend. Her new girlfriend. Her new buddy. That person is YOU. She doesn't see you as a sexual threat, but one good thing is 18-22 year olds are all over the map with what they want. I don't want to give you hope because I think this is dead in the water. You need to drop this girl like a brick. You're in college, so start banging chicks left and right. Don't waste time, energy, and money on one bitch who's not going to give it out. Let me know how it goes if you continue to play this. I bet you I'm right. Your game was over before it even started.

Why would you would characterize his signal reading and language as sophisticated?

Most women are light years ahead of guys in the love game.

I agree with T-Bone. After you get the number, the ball is in your hands and at no point do you pass it away because once you do, you will never get it back.
