Every time a girl texts me out of the blue or whatever, I think "OK im going to try not be afc, and ill reply somewhere between 30-50% of what she writes, and i wont reply to her texts for a couple hours" This strategy never made sense to me, but i thought id try it. Every time ive tried it, it seems to crash and burn. The girl just ends up doing the same thing, and eventually ILL be the one waiting for the texts. Like seriously lol Is this crap really meant to work? Am i doing it wrong? Am i doing it too much? What are the rules with this type of "game" So far i effing hate it, but maybe im just doing it too severely or completely wrong. Thanks guys |

In my case I reply when I have time to do so. If I can reply within 10minutes, I'll do it. If it take 1-2hours, she'll have to wait. Also it depends if I see the girl often or not. If I get a random text because she seems to be bored and I know I'll see the girl the same day or in a few days, I wont reply. I'm not her funny friend who will help her to be less bored when needed. Don't forget people have jobs and life, so it's not because she don't reply fast that she's ignoring you. Sometimes they (us too My $0.02 |

I tend to go for a 2/3rds rule, which means Reply 2 texts for every 3 she sends you Wait about twice as long as she takes to reply back and, in general, commit about 2/3rd as much, time, energy and emotional investment-wise, as she does. I think your problem might be that your showing too little interest, and that what you're actually replying WITH is generally not particularly interesting or funny. Also, remember to mix things up. Sometimes, an out of the blue random funny text, when you haven't spoken to her in a few days, will be a great idea. The basic idea with any form of validation, is just to keep her guessing, don't give to easily, and always make her chase you and work for your attention and affection. |

thanks heaps guys! Yeah i agree with when you said what im replying with probably isnt very interesting. And it isnt! how can it be when youre replying 1/3 of a message which was only half a text page long anyway? EG her: "Heyy long time no talk Id be like (OK dont overdo it, remember less is more) and proceed to reply with "Going out with mates tomorrow. hbu?" Id use abbreviations (Hbu as opposed to how about you) simply to make my text as close to 30% as possible. EPIC FAIL alright ill be more natural about this whole text game. Be interesting always, but dont validate all the time either to keep her guessing. |

Try to text her things with substance:Yeah i agree with when you said what im replying with probably isnt very interesting. Be interesting always, but dont validate all the time either to keep her guessing. As a general rule; don't ask her what she's doing, how she is.. what the weathers like..what's up, or anything like that. I think women, or people in general have an auto-pilot response for these kinds of questions. If you ask what's up, unless you know the person REALLY WELL, they're not going to say anything other than "nothing much, u?" try something like.. "You know, I never bothered to notice this but _".. that should replace your "hi, whassup" and stuff. This baits them to response and when you're texting/gaming like this the 1/3, 2/3 rule makes much more sense. 1/3 is pretty greedy though, high risk of her just shutting down, high reward. |

oh cool as What do you mean by "High reward"? are you saying that if it does work, her attraction will be even more? |

How can no one be surprise when you put in so little you get so little in return? The more you invest the more likely you get more back in return. |

Well, women.. or people in general work off this concept of time/emotional investment. What do you mean by "High reward"? are you saying that if it does work, her attraction will be even more? For example if you like a girl... and then you TELL your friends and such that you have this major crush on this girl.. you'll like her more due to the confirmation. . Now if SHE at any point realizes that she's investing so much more in what she says back to you, compared to what you say to her... it makes her FEEL like she's investing. This in her mind solidifies her attraction to you. So when she's at that desperate "omg i like him so much" point, shel'l think back "I EVEN SPENT SO MUCH TIME TEXTING TO HIM I MUUUST BE IN LOOVE"etc. So basically a higher reward (where reward is the amount of attraction you generate in her). |

Zinisterz thankyou for answering my question perfectly Makes total sense, AND gave me more of an understanding of how a girl would think. Makes a lot of sense. |

30-50%? Waiting for 2 hours? 2/3rds rule??? What the fuck is all this math shit? I just text when I feel like it, and I'm pretty decent at replying in a short time. Anyone who actually takes text game seriously is wasting their time. As long as you get your point across via text that's all you need. And, what's the point you need to get across via text if you choose to engage in text game? This: LET'S MEET FACE TO FACE. |

Just because we like to work things out logically, you must remember girls don't think like us. I'll tell you WHY your tactic does not work. It's because when you txt each other, it builds momentum, much like conversation, and when you space it out like that, the momentum dies. She's not thinking of you anymore, shes occupied, etc, etc. Thus the txts get increasingly shit. Whatever rule you've read, the main point is not to be the one giving out without her giving something. If she replies quickly, reply quickly back, if she replies slow, reply slow, etc. That's the best way to go about with "txt game." But anyways remember txting doesn't lead to anywhere. Rule of the thumb, use txt to get her on the phone, use phone to get her out in person, use outside to get her inside (yes for sex). |

I think this text math, time frame shit is ridiculous too. If you've only met them once, they're gonna think you're socially inept, shy and that it's hard for you to think of what to say if you take hours and hours to respond back. I text a ton of girls and I'll usually respond back right away. If the girl is an 8.5 or above, I'll respond quickly, find a point where she says something that is a little juicy and response provoking and then I'll all of a sudden cut it off. I'll sever everything completely until like 15-24 hours later. This drives them batty and they want to fuck you for the sole reason of you not responding back to them. They do this because every passing moment, they think maybe they said something awkward or dorky and you don't wanna fuck em anymore. That makes them wanna come right over and blow you to make sure they still has some power generated by being attractive! Haha Additonally, I'm not totally with you guys and the whole "text goes nowhere" thing. Sure setting up the F2F is good but especially lately, I've been really learning how to immediately sexually escalate the text conversation without it being creepy. With 3 different girls I met recently, within 2-3 days of texting, I'm already saying things like I want them to cum on my face. They are responding very positively to it... saying it's making them horny and that they start playing with themselves. Don't get me wrong... this only works if you have impeccable writing skills and a huge amount of charisma, confidence and a way to use punctuation to really be clear about cocky-funny. I could see how a newbie would easily fuck it up and not know it. If I'm saying something real over-the-top, I'll reread my text atleast 3 times before I send it. I'll read it in 3 different tones or moods and make sure it comes across exactly how I want it said (even though text is the hardest mode of communication to express tone with). |
