I'm in grade 12 . Anyways I dated this girl for about 2-3 months from school. The relationship was actually pretty decent ..no major problems , at no times did i act like a dick to her. One day I started to think about the fact that i'm graduating very soon and didn't see myself with her long term.We had no mutual friends and began to think i was missing out . Basically , the situation that i was in was not one I was completely happy about and wanted to get out of it to look for it. So i broke up with her after school one day in the most friendly way . I told her i would still be good friends with her , and that I just didnt want a relationship right now and began to see her differently .etc. Immediately she stormed off basically crying , saying she hated me ,etc. Ever since our communication has been mostly text , except for the one time I went out with her ( big mistake) ..anyways ever since she has been nice sometimes but sometimes she will go on big texting sprees and just completly blow up my phone with shit like : (this is all my from last night ) .. " I hate you! get the fuck out my life you stupid idiot. I mean ever word and hope this hurts you like you hurt me . And dont expect a sorry. " Your full of shit i deserve better than you you . alwats was too good for you " " you deserved ever fowl thing you stupid prick" I actually really hate you . I really fucking hate you . You ugly bastard" finally i just texted her and lied and said there was a death in the family..just so she would stop and she hardly let up p.s - I dont even respond to this texts. ill just be busy and all of a sudden check my phone and see 12 new messages and think fuck . I feel like there is no escaping this . Its really taking a toll on my confidence i just want to move on. I tried deleteing them without looking at them ..but they keep pouring in . any advice guys? please help |

Classic case of borderline. You are being split black. "I hate you, don't leave me". No matter what you do, just know those kind of girls are really bad news. You can't have a normal conversation, she will project all her insecurities onto you. You want to have a "normal" closure"? No chance, my friend. |

One of my best mates had an ex who he now considers a stalker and he was going to put a restraining order as this girl used to turn up at his house, work even tube station. He recently changed his number but the problem is there are many mutual friends whereas in your case you dont. I suggest changing your number? Just for completeness, the stalker got my mates number in two days and is now harassing him. |

Just don't get stuck in her own reality. From the moment that you are starting to believe you did something wrong, you will enter a world of pain, my friend.and i realized she is bad news man...gotta be so careful about girls man You have to show her clear boundaries. Don't start yelling, do not counteract in the same way. Just be firm but respectful that you don't take this sh*t. |

Yeah thanks Imar . But heres the thing ..do I try to reason with her ? contact her ? or Do i just never talk to her agian and just hopes it blows over ? |

The question is what do you want? You want to be friends with her in the long run, just having a proper closure, ...? I tried to have normal contact with my borderline ex, after a few months it became clear she was so f*cked up in the head that it was impossible. You can try to be the "better man", but you just have to realize that in her world you are now the biggest asshole in the universe. It's her problem, not yours. |

Yeah dude im starting to realize thats she is just to far gone to be friends . I mean , I have been trying for weeks now , only to be burnt several times on her offensive texting sprees . just for no reason . |

She's like 16. Standard young and insecure girl who cannot understand her own emotional baggage. You can't help her. You can't be friends any time soon. Don't even read her texts. She will be fine without you. Honestly. |

Dude, just be glad you got rid of this psycho bitch when you did and not a day later. Just do.....nothing. Don't respond to her txts, don't call her back, dont try to explain yourself or try to smooth things over. If she shows up in person to try to confront you or talk to you or even if she shows up to try to fuck (actually ESPECIALLY if she trys to fuck you) just say, "I don't like the way you've been treating me." and then walk away from her and leave. Any time you respond to her you are giving her ammunition and reinforcing her bad behaviour. She is getting benifit from your response so don't respond. As long as you do nothing she will get bored and wear herself out in a short period of time and move on to someone else to torment. |
