So i keep hearing everyone saying confidence can not just come it has to be built an eventually it will come. so my question is how long does it take what can i look out for to see that im heading in the right direction. I think im turnin alot more confident but i still have unconfident moments an some days i just can not be arsed socializing if i dont have to, this realy pisses me off but it is becoming rarer some days i can just talk for england. I just try an do somethin i wouldnt normaly do a day but i am lookin for tips on how to know your headin in the right direction. Oh today i think iv made my biggest breakthough in confidence is just say what you think right away i was doing it today with a few hbs out of my social group an most of the time i had them all laughing but to me it doesnt even seem funny. Maybe i just have good facial expresions i am a bit of character. |

Another sign of becoming confident is the ability to take risks and not care. You kind of have the idea by just saying the 1st thing which come to mind as you did with the HB's. You cant be ON all the time. There are gonna be moments/days where you get jaded with being social,and just feel to be in your own world. |

Wow k loc you have just helped me immensely, i thought there was somethin wrong with me having off days where i carnt get social an just want to be in my own little bubble. (this will help my confidence alot now) is there anywhere i can read up on this off days an that to get more of a understanding. ? I am beggining to take risks like going on the back of my friends motorbike which i usually wouldnt do, they just do not feel safe. an iv been daygaming once these past 2 weeks for the first time, which was a succsess it feels like its finally comeing together. Any other tips i will try anythin next sargin session im going to go ask random hbs to marry me to get into state i learnt that from blondeguy, my main problem is im a pretty slow learner. But i know for 1000% if i dont give up then it will come |

Remember this, because it's one of the Pick Up Arts' most basic but powerful rule; "Competence is better than Confidence" It means that being good at something and having actual skills is better than just being plain ol' confident. When a doctor is performing surgery, it's better if he has competence rather than confidence. Makes sense? Here's a link to a video on Youtube. thanks for the reply i watched the video but i carnt realy have the sound high because my mum works night shifts an my room is close to hers but i got the basic gist of it an i shall google competence, iv heard it before but dont much about it. but i kind of understand what you mean if you are 100% sure of your skills with social interactions then you will be 100% confident in social interactions ?. tbh im just happy im seeing results an the video will definatly help me with my AA . Orey-Good point on competence. @Bracuda-There's not much else you need to do in regard to confidence. You're on the right tracc already. |
