| Post subject: | Things to neg on and how to escalate from small talk |
Hey gents Need some advice on how to deliver negs and how to tease the targets properly, WITHOUT being overly rude and abusive. I have quite thick skin so what I find funny other people might not see the same way and Im afraid of going too far or being too rude when negging or teasing. How can I help myself? (Also examples of negs that usualy work for most scenarios would be really helpful please!) The other thing I desperately need advice on is how to move from small talk and general chit chat (like hows your weekend etc) to actual convos that are going somewhere. Im not bad at the small talk part but I find that after a while the convo dies and both of us just dont further it anymore. How can I escalate it in a way that entices her to stay and be intrigued, rather then decide not to reply anymore? Thanks for all your help! |

So true... Negs are only to be used to bring someone down that is on a pedestal. A way of showing them that their poop stinks just like everyone else. "is she always like this" then just keep talking to the friend for a few minuites, remember only neg when she is being a bitch, if she has no bitch shield, whts the point. DHV instead lol ALSO when delievering negs do it half serious and half jokingly, More serious than joking though Negs are dependent upon the situations. There are some that are most likely gonna come up when you're out. ryry gave you one and that could be used for many situations. If she's being a bitch. If she's talking too much. If she's hyper. Pretty much anything that makes her seem like she is not in a chill mode. You could follow up with: You can dress her up, but you can't take her out. If she's talking too much, you could say: Where is the off button? In order to go from chit chat to normal conversation, again ryry is right. Demonstrate High Value. You can do this by story telling. You started with small conversation about how her weekend was. This is a direct question that could leave you with a simple answer. "It was cool." Then you're stuck asking follow up questions which can turn boring quickly. Instead you could say, "Tell me one thing that made your weekend and why?" or "Tell me one thing that made you smile this weekend and why?" Regardless of what her answer is, she has to answer it with why. This gets her talking. If she says anything that catches your attention, or you can relate to it in any way, TELL YOUR STORY! Telling stories is how you DHV. Listen to what she says and tell a story about how it relates to you. If she said she spent a day at the amusement park. Tell her the story of how you and your friends went on a roller coaster, and the entire ride your friend was screaming "make it stop! please just make it stop!" *True story* It doesn't have to be true. It just needs to be a story about something that relates to something she said. |

Great thanks for the replies! I like the 'is she always like this' neg! Any others that are fairly standard and useable in lots of scenarios? I find it really hard to come up with negs because sometimes I go too far and think I am being too rude... like I will put them down on something they might find sensitive like their age or I'll neg on something that is actually the truth and they'll get offended etc. So I often avoid negging at all! I researched up on DHV and found some answers but is there a general guide on how to create DHV stories? I struggle to find DHV stories to tell, i.e. I cant think of how to relate the experiences I have into a DHV story or I dont know how to move the conversation into a DHV story. What kind of general everday experiences can I use from which to generate DHV stories? I always think that whatever story I have wont DHV, but its probably how I say it and the qualities I should show whilst saying it right? E.g. the amusement park story... I would never have thought to think of saying that because in my mind I'd feel that wouldn't be of any interest to the target! (you can see I am a real beginner at gaming lol!) Thanks fellas! |

just use some Mystery Method neg and DHV stories. DHV stories are better if they actually about yourself and there true. But if you gotta fake it til you make it, then go for it. We all gotta start somewhere right? One thing I can tell you is be careful with the Negs. If you open sets and instead of being bitches, your target is throwing out IOI, there is no point of negging. Calibrate it. |
