when you asked if you could talk to her and she said "sure", that was your queue to talk to her. instead you kept asking for approval, despite her already giving it. you are the one who assumed she was busy and kept acting like you were impeding on her schedule. |

A few problems: - You asked if you could talk to her. You don't need permission to speak with her, saying something like "Hey, I need your opinion on something..." works better; you're not asking, you're telling! - After you'd established conversation, you asked again. It doesn't matter how busy she looks, it's up to her to bring it up with you if she can't talk. Also, if she really looked that busy, why did you speak to her in the first place? - You then proceeded to ask if she was on a break, that was your third question and you were still only establishing whether or not you could talk to her. You should have been talking to her, not interrogating her about whether or not she really could talk to you! - Finishing up with "I'll wait" and "we'll talk later": you don't know this girl, you've not said anything of any meaning whatsoever, why would you wait for her? What were you going to say to her/ask her that necessarily must be said to/asked of her? I'm not saying you shouldn't talk later, just that it seems a little odd to tell her that you intend to wait for her and speak to her later. Maybe she was busy, maybe she wasn't. If she wasn't, the only reason she said she was is because you were practically insisting that she must be too busy to talk to you! All that being said, you still have a chance with her but I'd give it a few days before you do (unless she approaches you). |

Sixpounder, I doubt she would approach him. It sounds a bit pathetic if you're asking a girl for permission to talk. Like someone said - NEVER ask for permission. Stop being so spineless, if you're going to talk to her, be decisive. Did you even know what you wanted to ask her? |

I doubt it too but I figured I'd add it just in case she approached him and he decided to completely ignore her.
