Post subject:  Big life issues here

Hey guys, I am 18, considered a Natural. I ve heard from girls that if they would put me on a scale i d be a HD 8/9 (Hot dude).

I have been dating this girl for 18 months now. She is my first girlfriend, first sex partner and we have had a VERY serious relationship. She would spent days at a time at my place so it even seemed like she had moved in. I ve met her entire family, she s met mine. We all have a very good relationship. 9 months ago i moved to the UK for uni and she stayed behind. We have been winging long distance every since and it has become exponentially harder over the course of the past few months.

Last 3 months involved non stop fighting, load of insecurities and her pushing me to the edge. I ended it 6 days ago because I felt cornered. I had been having naughty thoughts about other girls, weird dreams, and I was just sick of it all. I still love her and she is one amazing girl... all a guy could ask for. Except for her lifestyle. She is in middleground now and she hasn t found herself. She is not living the university life, she doesnt know what she wants to do and I feel like she is holding me back A LOT (I am Extremely ambitious and I know I can do BIG things).

She will be going to the same university as me next year, however. This is regardless of our relationship status. My gut feeling tells me to play the fields a bit, mature as an individual and then seek love. THis has been my greatest dillema since I moved to the UK because on one hand I was afraid to loose this one amazing girl, and on the other I was afraid to regret no living my university "crazy time" to the fullest.

I know this is a long winded post but I am in a very bad position now because I am enjoying this new freedom but I feel as though as I might regret this one day. I did break up with her once and regretted it painfully. This time it is different though.

Please share some input, or some past experiences. I would much appreciate it!

Wow I feel you man. I just wanted to say:

You're doing the right thing. You will not regret this. In fact, you will probably be wondering why you even gave it so much attention in the first place.

Sounds like you had a rough go towards the end. And that's what everybody needs to realize: Relationships ALL have a beginning a middle and an end. You've got to accept it and let it go.

Keep playing the field. You'll probably have her however you want her if you want her in the future. She'll be there for you. And so will every other honey you got on deck.

Build options not walls.
