Post subject:  Crazy cockblocks in day-game?
So I was talking to a girl on the street the other day, it was going well, and I was just about to go for the number when this crazy drunk guy with no teeth stumbles in and starts rambling to us about "yea this is good, this is natural, it's ok, talk to the girl, ..." and WOULDN'T FUCKING LEAVE.

I tried ignoring him, I tried shaking his hand and clapping him on the shoulder, etc. The girl was weirded out and lost interest in me as well.

Is there any way to handle this sort of thing or is it just one of those things that happens?

First, you tried befriending the drunk which was the first best move because it shows that you didn't go into panic mode; still keeping it chill. After that is where you failed. Seeing how it still wasn't working, you should of grabbed her by the hand and gotten her away from that drunk. That would have really showed her security and dominance as well as seduction.

I'm not sure if befriending the crazy drunk is such a good idea... Sure befriending a cockblock in a bar/club is the way to go, but then if I go shaking hands with every bum doesn't that make me look like some crazy guy with no standards?

Haha, that's quite a situation.

Probably should try to make "chick-code" eyes with her, like "lets get out of here"... Most of the time if wierdness differential between him and you is high enough, shel'l agree and then you walk away with her saying something like "Jeez I thought I was a little wierd."

That's the problem though, isn't it? The frame, and her mindset, went from "wow it's so nice to meet polite strangers on the street" to "What the fuck is going on, I'm surrounded by weirdos"
