Part I
So, i opened an HB8 at a party last weekend and closed on her after about half an hour of on-off flirting. We hooked up upstairs and afterward she told me that i was her "best hookup ever" and she really wanted to get together again.

Part II
I got her # and then hooked up with her again 4 days later (tues). Then she told me her roommate was leavin wed and we could get together again. She ended up flaking sayin that she had a test the next day. Then tonite i texted her seein if she wanted to get together and i got a reply along the lines of "sorry, i dont think this is gonna work out cause i really wanna focus on school for the rest of the semester". So i reply "it's cool, i've got a lot goin on too so i know where youre comin from. if you get some free time maybe you could gimme a call if you wanna get together".

I didnt really want to push anything cause i figured at this point i should just cut my losses and move on. But what really confused me was her reply. She said "yeah, dont get me wrong, i had a really good time and would love to do it again. Maybe we could get together for coffee sometime :)"

I'm usually pretty good at reading situations with girls, but this one's got me kinda puzzled. What do you guys think is goin on here? I'm not really sure if i just got friend-zoned in some weird way or if i might've saved it with my reply. Thoughts on how i should proceed?

Lol nah man I think you're ok, she's resisting because she wants to blame you for the hook ups, she probably regreted having said she would want to hook up again the first time, just get together for coffee, then "accidentally" end up at any private location where you can fuck her silly again, she just doesnt want to recognize the situation for what it is.

Never be afraid to walk out from a negotiation with her just for the sex, I hope that makes sense, if you don't want a girlfriend right now, dont let her make that decision for you.

If she didn't want you she would've said ANYTHING else except suggesting a future "coffee" with you, she doesn't want the coffee, she can drink coffee with her mother for all she cares, that's just a good excuse she came up with.

If you don't escalate and at least get a good make out with her on this little "coffee" date I think it would be unlikely you will get another chance to hook up with her because you didn't read her hints correctly.

Btw good job playing it cool but you didn't convey to her the fact that this "freeze" is silly and you both still want to have awesome hook up sex anyway, so now you have to handle it in her terms it by meeting up more "innocently", for some women "playing innocent" is a sexual turn on, just keep that possibility in the back of your head. Help her realize her fantasy of "it just happened!...again...and again...and again".
