Post subject:  My first honest shot at text game...... How did i do?
so i've got a lifetime of AFCness that i'm in a hurry to turn around. my game is pretty weak to say the least and i'm just looking for some feedback on how i did here.

I briefly met this girl once like last year, then ran into her last thursday at the bar and got her number. i wanna hang out w/ her this thursday (2 days from this post) so i decided to text her.

Me: made you look
Her: Huh??
Me: exactly, did you know chuck norris once killed a man by poking him on facebook?
Her: are you drunk???
Me: ha i wish, that would make this meeting a lot more tolerable. how you doing?
Her: haha i'm good. just came out of a meeting. but i took a five hour energy so i'm goood!
Me: uh oh, u messed up, ur not supposed to take those until 2:30 (felt like such a cheeseball saying this)
Her: No!!! the guy in the commercial takes it in the morning in place of coffee!
Me: No need to get loud *NAME*. I don't like what this 5hr energy is doing to you
Her: Oh, i can be louder. You don't want to hear that. Supposedly i don't have a whisper voice
Me: lol is that so? i guess i can see you getting pretty loud. (my lame attempt at innuendo)
Me: hey, i gotta get going. let's hang out on thursday yeah?
Her: what is thurs
Me: It's that day that we're hanging out on, remember?
Her: haha, did i say we were??? When i was drunk?
Me: You also said you were gunna get me a shiny new tricycle, but i'll let that one slide
Her: Hahaha. I'll get that for you
Me: Niiiice, bring it with thursday. I wanna take that bad boy off some sweet jumps
Her: haha ok sounds awesome.
Me: k cool. i'll call you in the next couple of days :)

EDIT: she re-initiated after, here's the rest

Her: wait did i really say we should hang out thursday???
Me: don't worry, you didn't ask me out while you were drunk. just messing with you, lol
Her: Ahhhhh i hate you
Me: aww don't be like that. You should be happy you were acting polite & ladylike
Me: except maybe the part where you compared by balls to potatoes (lol has to do w/ my nickname)
Her: Sadly, i would have probably said the same thing to you even when i'm sober. i should really go to etiquette school.
Me: haha i wouldn't worry about it. being ladylike is overrated. but hey i really gotta go now. talk to you later

To be honest , not really my style . However it did look like it worked at least decently here . To me , you just come across as a little to random . When you use chuck Norris to make conversation , it just screams out uncool and tacky . and the 5 hour energy thing , something grade 10s would joke about . but good job . looks like it worked here. but just be warned trying this out on other girls

Thanks for the reply. What you say makes sense. Especially since I felt the same way as i was saying some of those things. I know for sure that a lot of my sense of humor is catered towards guys and forum nerds seeing as how i really only hung out with them for a good chunk of my life. So in trying to avoid those types of jokes and trying to come up with something to say, i end up sounding cheesy.

Any general pointers or maybe examples of how you would have done it differently?
