| Post subject: | Having Trouble Transitioning During Day Game |
For the past week I've been going out and opening women that i'm attracted to during the day. I have no problem opening women but it's just transitioning where I have large problems. From around the last 10 girls i've approached they've started to slowly walk off as they're talking to me. My normal opener would be - "Hi, sorry to stop you but do you know where ____ is? Some might say that's not a very good opener for day game because it's indirect and that I say sorry, I just feel it fits into my personality well and a good starting point. After my opener she would normally say "Oh yea there's a few on ___ street (starts walking off slowly while looking at me) over there somewhere." I just finish off with "Thanks". It's frustrating because when I watch videos of other Puas doing day game all the girls stay at least when they're speaking allowing them to transition. Do I just need to man up and transition while they're walking away with something subtle or am I doing something wrong here? |

Pick your spot so they can't walk off or you at least have an excuse to go the same way. For instance I was at the university last week opening women by asking where around campus I could pick up a prospectus. I knew fine well where to get one but there are only 3 gates to leave the main campus from so you have an automatic excuse to go in the same direction as her. She might even say 'I'm headed in that direction anyway' and walk with you. If you're asking directions to something obscure she may have GPS on her phone, which she'll have to stop to look at. If she points and you notice she's wearing a nice ring or bracelet you could comment on that. In my case I was asking if they were students and what they studied, would they recommend it etc., which led on to some interesting conversations and a chance to show off my aspirational side. Personally I think the opener should be dispensed with as quickly as possible. Don't give her a chance to walk away! |

OP, you are just like me in that I am getting to grips with Daygame and always using indirect openers. Not easy, because it seems the best PUAs manage to at least mix direct with the approach. I find it difficult to transition, but my best day sarges I try and humour or banter the girl (e.g. about her hair, or where she is from, what she does for a living etc.). Then after that I get stuck. Most importantly, good body language is essential. Always speak with a smile, confident and not sound dreary, tired and almost breathless as that could give away an uncomfortable vibe. |

Don't move and keep talking while they slowly start walking away. Just talk as if you don't even notice she's walking away from you. They start stopping then, because they notice you weren't finished talking. But also, when using direction openers, obviously people don't think you wanna stay and talk - the interaction is just basic and casual. Of course they're gonna start walking away slowly. Maybe try using a situational or direct opener. At least the set will stay put when you do that, allowing you to continue the interaction. |
