First, I would stop listening to it. I'm not very familiar with hypnosis, unfortunately. The only thing I'm aware of is there are mixed results depending on the use of hypnosis and the study-- in regards to its effectiveness.

However, consistent nightmares--as opposed to occasional nightmares--tends to be a sign of some sort of trauma. In other words, effective or ineffective for some reason you are being damaged by listening to this hypnosis audio. Again, I'm not indicating the audio itself is damaging you; it could be a sort of placebo effect where you feel like something is happening so it is happening.

The best approach is to stop listening to the audio. If nightmares continue for an extended period of time afterward, then you are going to need to see a psychiatrist.

Again, my hunch is that it is coincidence listening to this audio coincided with having nightmares. However, you will not know for certain until you stop listening and see what happens.
