My ex and I have been broken up for a couple months and just recently she contacted me saying "she misses me" "the grass isn't always greener" "I wonder what it would be like with you now" I had almost gotten over this girl dammit and she had to text me that stuff! Anyway I played it cool and said "sorry you feel that way maybe we can talk about it sometime" She agreed and we made plans to meet. NOW the weird part.. She flaked!!! What the hell I was thinking, why would you contact me just to flake. I played it perfectly or so I thought. I didn't get overly excited or pour out my heart to her. Hell I wouldn't even answer all of her texts. Anyway now she is still texting multiple times a day but just about stupid stuff. e.g. "Did you keep your car or sell it? I swear I just saw it!" "So I'm cleaning some stuff at work and found stuff I stashed away for your birthday!" "I'm getting a new job so I don't get to be a beach bum this summer:(" What do you make of this girl? What is she getting at? |

She's full of shit, and I think she is using you for validation, why else would she flake on you, if you really had these feelings about a person. She just wants too know she could have you back if she wants, tell her too screw off and leave you be, in other words I'm done stop texting me |

^ Agreed. She may be finding it difficult to find guys to replace the attention you used to give her. So, she is pretending to rekindle your relationship to boost her ego. You don't have to take that. It is unlikely you'll get back into a relationship with this girl, and even more unlikely that it will evolve into something you enjoy. The best thing to do is start ignoring her now and never respond until you are sure you have no romantic feelings left. Easier said than done, right? Good luck. |
