Hey fellas This question is for when speaking to women mainly through messenger like MSN or work messenger but it could also apply to when speaking face-face Is the following list correct in terms of what I need to watch out for, and am I missing any obvious ones - Dont send too many messages, so as to not appear too eager. Should I send less messages then her basically - Dont ask everything all at once...one question at a time so I dont run out of things to say - Dont answer every question she asks.... if necessary ignore some messages and focus on latest ones... dont backtrack in the convo How do I show indifference or show that I was doing something else rather then thinking about the girl... i.e. if she asks what I got up to last night... and I just chilled at home... can I just say just chilled out rather then going into detail of how I did nothing? Thanks all! |

Everything you listed seemed fine. There's a big stigma about texting too long of a time, and this is one of the ones out there I dont necessarily agree with. As long as the conversation is fun, it can go as long as you want. It is important to hit that eject button when the conversation dies down or you run out of things to say. Silent pauses and awkward moments are perfectly normal when a guy and a girl that likes each other talk. Dont worry about filling every moment with pure laughter and sexual tension, dont put that kind of pressure on yourself. |

It depends. You can go on a convo on IM for 6 hours without taking a break. But it depends on a case by case basis, and of course how you frame the conversation. |

fact: i'm a 19 years old girl and if a guy acted like that with me on messenger i would tell him to f**k off and wouldn't bother talking to him after. moral - acting like a douche doesn't work |
