I met a girl on a night out towards the end of summer and we seemed to hit it off instantly. Unfortunatley we were both heading to different universities but stayed in touch via text, facebook etc.
Anyway after a very slow buildup we ended up meeting in a club over Christmas and spending most of that night together in the club. Nothing bar kissing in the club occured though. Ive tried to act quite indifferent and laid back when texting since we went back to university. However in the last few weeks she seems to have met another guy who ironically comes from the same area as us but goes to a different university to her. Since then her interest in me has diminished, is there anyway to reverse this? Thanks.

It seems you let your opportunity slip by without making that move. I have a saying...."you snooze, you lose."

I'd continue being friends, but game on with other people in the meantime.

Given that she has only recently met this guy, is there any way I can sway this back in my favour before anything starts properly?

I think that if you want more than LJBF with this girl invite her to come over or you go up to her and go ''all in'' on her, that way you'll either get GF/LTR/sex or a big blow out

that's my opinion ;)

it does sound as though you have missed your chance, you should have at least tried to make a move, but it sounds like moving on would be fore the best

just my two cents
