Post subject:  Arranging A Date

I'm new here & fairly new to this (read a few books in the past few months and watching a David DeAngelo DVD currently) and I just need some advice.

So I've been chatting to this girl and things have been going well, getting good signals (or so it appears). So I thought I'd attempt a date. I said to her "When you going to take me out bowling then?" And she came back with "Excuse me? ME take YOU out? Thing you got it round the wrong way. However I'm very good at bowling and would beat you". Anyway chit chat a bit more and I said to her when am I going to take you out then? She said that she is busy all week (with work, college etc) and would let me know Friday for next week when she gets her schedule. She then said she had a bad memory and if she forgets to text her Friday to remind her.

Now does this sound like she's trying to avoid a date? Or she's genuinely interested in going on a date but has a busy schedule (which I know she is busy) ?

Can't seem to work out whether she wants to or not, and therefore not sure whether to text her Friday if she forgets...?

Help please :?

Thanks,
Hunter

Ask her out. Dont even ask kinda tell her you guys are going out on such and such a day and such and such a time and youre gonna see who is better at bowling. Have a bet on like a forfeit or some kind of dare. it will be fun.

If a girl rearranges a date what would any of you guys do? would you say ok, if it didnt clash with anything you had planned?

Sounds like she wants to go. She just called you out on the fact that the man is "supposed" to ask the girl out, but she challenged you right after that. In other words, she said YES.

Then she told you she's busy, and you know she is.. so that was genuine.. And if she forgets to text you, you need to remind her of the text. If she was trying to stall/avoid the date, she wouldn't have asked you to text her on friday.

Have fun on your date!

It's funny we have a forfeit arranged, the loser has the make the other a cuppa afterwards!

Thanks bro, exactly what I wanted to hear. Just didnt wanna come across as too "keen" if I text her Friday.
