What are the most important aspects?

I dont want to be direct straight away cos i dont have the balls yet.

If you don't feel like you have the confidence to do a direct approach, then start off simple and work your way up.

1. If you're by yourself, then engage random people (men and women) in conversation on your daily routine - the woman serving you coffee, the man next to you on the subway platform, and so on. If you can't think of anything, try

i. Something situational
ii. A compliment about something they're wearing
iii. Directions

and see where you can take the conversation. What can you find out about them? What they're interested in, what motivates them, what they're happy about, etc? Developing the ability to engage any random stranger in conversation is incredibly useful for living a happy, social, successful life, not just picking up women. Cultivate it!

2. With a friend, go out and play games and pranks on people. Nothing illegal or being a total dick, just doing stuff that is weird, socially inappropriate, and creates an awkward situation that you just revel in and laugh at. For example, some of the simple ones we do are:

i. Order a Big Mac at Subway/Burger King/KFC
ii. Ask directions from someone with your finger in your nose (extra credit - go to shake their hand afterwards!)
iii. Go into a shop and try to negotiate and buy the ENTIRE shop

=> A lot of the time, guys get addicted to just doing the pranks, as you keep pushing yourself to do crazier and crazier things! On our last bootcamp I taught on, I went into a furniture shop, asked to try out a bed, took off all my clothes and went to sleep in it! (Luckily we caught that one on film) :-D

3. Once you've gotten over caring about "being weird" and enjoy fucking with social pressure and not giving a shit, now it's time to start approaching girls! The important elements are to get her to stop and listen, preframe your opener, and then deliver a compliment of some kind.

The best way to get her to stop and listen, is to get right in front of her so she HAS to stop (not too close!), and smile as you say hello.

Then you want to explain the situation, so she doesn't think you are a salesman or charity worker, and then deliver your compliment. For example

"Hi, I know this may sound slightly random, but I just noticed you from over there and I think you're absolutely gorgeous, so I had to come meet you. I'm ____ "
