I had been talking to this girl for about a month and a half when last week i finally gave up because we had only hung out a few times. I like her a lot and i knew she liked me but she was always so busy and some of the times we could have spent together she decided to go to random clubs with really sketchy guys. Now im not jealous or anything i dont care about who she went with its that times we planned to do something over the weekend she ends up going to some club. So one day when we were supposed to hang out she ended up having a lot to do, non club or anything like that but like a doctors appt. and other stuff but i told her i was done trying im not going to chase her to hang out so i havent talked to her in a week. I saw her in school today since we were on vaca for that week and we didnt talk or anything (im in HS and shes in my class). But i still do like her even though im talking to a different girl who goes to my old school. Do i text her and start talking to her in class since i still care about her or do i just keep freezing her out until she decided to initiate and talk to me?? any criticism/ advice is appreciated. |

Well you froze her out, you cant just randomly go back to her again. The point is to get her to come to you. She has to earn it, if she wants back in. |

I am saying this cause i see her everyday in class sometimes 2 or 3 times a day so its not like we are in our 20's and we have to make dates to see each other, you know what i mean?

Uh, this isn’t really a freeze out, what you did. A freeze out doesn’t involve you saying anything negative, its just where you pull back from whatever level of pursuit you were at before. If you wanted to freeze her out, when she invites you to a club you would just say you had other plans (ideally, you would actually be making other plans, go out with different friends!). Saying you aren’t going to chase her down to hang out gives away a lot more than you think, specifically it makes her believe that she really doesn’t hold your interest that much. And completely ignoring her doesn’t help either. Next time you see her in school, say hi, hell if she starts a conversation then you can just go with it. All you need to do is not try to set up any kind of plans with her. If you stop acting like you two are friends then she is just going to assume you two are no longer friends on any level. |

yeah its not like i just stare at her with dirty looks we smile at each other and i always see her looking at me across the room in class so its nothing bad i basically just gave up on attempting to talk to her anymore. but i do miss talking to her because we always flirted and had fun
