When you're new it can be crippling. The better you get, the more you learn to deal with it. The answer is to have some throw away approaches. Tell the girl next to you at the bus stop that her bag's cool/ the shop assistant's earrings are nice/ etc. You're not hitting on them, you're just warming up. For me, I flirt with the serving girls at my favourite coffee shop and then hit the caffeine (I only use caffeine prior to gaming). |

It's very normal. The post above is good advice. What's the WORST that can happen? I know it's cliche to say that, but seriously... |

For night game, getting pissed helps!after you said that i remembered being on the bus/in a coffee shop etc and saying "how are you", "nice hair" etc and never felt any embaressment/nervousness. im going out tonight with my openers and stacking routines. wish me luck Thing is, as you get good, you realise how much better you'd be when sober. When new though, AA is the biggest hurdle. |

AA is a HUGE thing. You keep telling yourself that who cares, whats the worst that can happen, these girls are not even going to see me ever again if i screw up. I really believe that I don't care what random girls think of me, i can screw up and who cares. Move onto the next one. But then I see a really hot girl that I want it to work with and then I get AA again because I think to myself. What if i run out of things to say? My AA comes directly from worrying about running out of things to say. So right now im trying to perfect my conversation skills and practicing them on friends and family. Ramble ramble ramble, i need to learn to ramble. |

Right now what you feel is what you expected and will happen because its whats holding you back from progressing. Let it happen and experience it even if you shit yourself because afterwards (say a week later) you will realise nobody died! nothing bad really happened and you will wonder what the fuck you were worried about in the first place! hard but true- real life isnt easy- but wanting it and actually doing it requires courage and perseverence. learning sucks but stick at it ! dont give up |
