rules of the game is a great tool for challenging yourself and immersing yourself into the mind of the PUA. Although I'll warn you it's not for the timid, some of the challenges really require you to step out of your comfort zone.

Why bother wasting your time with theory?
All the informations will just mess your game up. 80% actual pickup and 20% theory sounds about right.

Read a single book, if the method works great for you - go do it. Don't waste time on other books. :)

If you ignore the teachings of the masters then you will not advance very far unless you are a natural. What you just said was equivalent to saying "why study music and music theory when you can just spend 100,000,000 hours reinventing the wheel and become the best guitar player ever through trial and error". It could work but I don't have that much free time.

Everybody can learn this, it's not rocket science :).
But to say that if you ignore the masters you won't advance very far is wrong I think. Every method is contradictory, so what works is what you're congruent with and by keeping the fundamentals you're gonna go a loooong way.

the thing is the books, the courses and bootcamps are basically the same things in a sense they are 'cheat sheets'. think of pick up like a computer game you buy the video game, you get nowhere with the video so you buy a cheat guide hopefully for you to be able to get an advantage with the game. but in a sense they have a benefit and a disadvantage.
the benefit is you have a short cut to getting laid,
the disadvantage is you become dependant on material and dont really learn from your mistakes because you dont have to.

i dont believe in teaching somebody how to be a 'natural' the reason is very simple if someone is naturally good at something they dont need to take a course in they adult life to be good at it. its like learning the piano in your 30's then saying after 3 days youre going to be naturally good at it its just not true.

im a pick up artist not a natural i know what im going to say and do and its been thought out beforehand. from my clothing cologne and accessories to my language a natural wouldnt need to think worry about that,
ill admit that i own a lot of the books like mystery, ross jeffries, neil strauss, kezia noble, gambler and so on naturals wouldnt need to materials like theirs

Viktor,

Don't go to read up on books. If you have a total zero lack of social awareness they can help you. But you're on this forum - so you have that skill - just need to put it out there.

Watch to what AFC Daniel is doing - Field Report Section - he's almost never reading. And trying out every day. Look at his progress.

Do both! You need knowledge so that you have something to put into your structure. Action is extremely important as well. No such thing as knowing too much but there certainly is not practicing enough. If you want I can pm you my email and I can hook you up with my practice method.

I like to have a cool looking psychology book as a tool to pick up girls:

"Hey, I've just read something in this book and wanted to know if it was true".
