Hey guys, I'm at the end of my tether here. I've been seriously single for 4 years, just got a new job which means i moved to another city about 6 months ago, and since then, i've gotten nowhere with anything... and i mean that... I was out tonight - by myself again, as i haven't been able to develop any friends nearby and all my buddies are now married, have kids, and settled down. And of course, while out tonight, i was blown out of the water on every set i opened... each opener got a one word response then bang, dead, gone. At work everyone is 20 years older than me, that's always been the case. It means that I act 45 instead of 27 all the time and i just don't have the social skills i need to talk to reasonably attractive women the same age as me. Seriously gutted at tonights failure... and trying to convince myself not to quit altogether. |
