Post subject:  is there a middle ground?
okay, if at one end you have, by defination, an AFC and then, at the other end of the spectrum you have a PUA. is there somewhere in the middle? if so, what are those guys called?

i think i have studied enough where im not sure i would call myself an AFC, but i know i need to learn a ton more, and work on alot of myself for betterment and thus, wouldnt call myself a PUA.


so, what do you call someone whos in the middle?

ahhh, the "reformed" AFC. your right. is there anything else in the middle ground tho? or is that the steps? AFC>RAFC>PUA>MPUA?


also, is it possible for WBAFC to refer to ones personal appearance, or general unattractiveness? further to this, how are ways someone can overcome their innate WBAFC-ness???

PUG (Pick up Guru) when you get to the best you can possibly be and start teaching others

don't get caught up in the system of ranks. Its really about building a life style and becoming a better person rather then getting through the ranks.

hey thanks!!

it wasnt about "getting through the ranks" per say? it was more just general curiousity. seeing, as i wouldnt call myself an AFC anymore, but im by no means a PUA. so, the question popped into my head "wtf am i, if im neither of those?" and thus my question... and your very good answer!

Normal. Healthy. Well adjusted. Self aware. Socially adept. sexually mature. Competent. squared away. Those are all things I would call the middle ground.


Someone who is so shy, introverted, socially inept, intimidated that they can not open their mouths and interact with someone with the opposite sex is dysfunctional and need of some form of assistance to live a normal, healthy and productive life.

Conversely someone who is manipulating, misleading and decieving someone for their own gain and for their own hidden agenda is also dysfunctional and also a form of pathology. On some level we may all admire the studs and porn stars that fuck hundreds and hundreds of women but to compulsively go out night after night seeking SNLs with countless women is a form of pathology and there is some form of dysfunction and pathology driving that compulsion.

There for the middle ground where someone is comfortable in their own skin and is able to interact with the people that they encounter during the course of their day without having to memorize canned lines and follow step by step instructions and algorythms in order to do what is supposed to be a natural process, is by definition the normal and the healthy.
